Start from the beginning

I study a lot considering every time I do I want to die.

The library door opened and Parker walked in looking tired sighing he looked around and as our eyes met he gave me a quick smile before walking up to the librarian Mr.Teller asking a question.

I looked back down at my papers before lightly banging my head on the desk in annoyance.

"Math?" A voice asked me.

I looked up at Theo who gave me a bright smile, "No."

He nodded sitting across from me, "Speaking of math, are you by chance good at it?"

"It depends on what kind."

"If we're being specific, statistics course Math 250 statistical methods," he told me, "almost everyone is at least decent at it, but I'm shit at math."

"I can help," I said, wanting to take a break from my paper.

He opened his laptop typing something before sliding it over to me so I could look over the problems.

"Okay, the first one is pretty easy," I said.

I went on to explain how you would do it helping him, before letting him do the second problem by himself.

He showed me his answer and I furrowed my eyebrows before checking to see where he made a mistake.

After finding it I explained what he had to do instead and he nodded following along to my words but after a while, I could tell he wasn't listening.

He was just looking at me nodding every once in a while.

"Parker, are you even listening?"

Hearing his name he hummed, "Five?"

"I asked if you were listening."

"Oh," he drawled out, "not really."

I rolled my eyes before explaining again this time he actually followed along to my words asking a few questions that I answered.

Almost an hour later I finished helping him, realizing I still had all my work to do.

"Do you need help?" Theo asked me.

"I'm fine," I answered shortly packing away my things knowing the library isn't open as long as usual on Fridays.

"Thank you," Theo told me.

"No problem Parker."

This time when I said Parker instead of Theo he didn't bother correcting me.

"Well thank you again, Cam."

I narrowed my eyes at him, "Don't call me Cam."

"So you can call me Parker and I can't call you Cam?"

"Exactly."

"Cam Cam?"

"That's way fucking worse."

He nodded in acknowledgment, "Okay then Cam are you doing anything," he checked his imaginary watch, "right now?"
