"Look. Who fucking sick joke is this! spit it out." I snapped, head thumping of anger, " I'm not living in some house with someone who is so s-so UGHH." I paused re-thinking my words, sitting down on an uncomfortable brown leather couch that I spotted entering the room, rubbing my temple, trying to restrain not to throw words that I might regret later.

" What is it that the department is planning now? Huh?" I bluntly asked my new assistant, who was not so discreet of her panic, fiddling with her red rubied pen and paper on an old brown clipboard. Probably assuming she'll lose her job right on the spot.

"Sir, please try to stay calm. Miss Alyssa is on her way right now, I don't know anything about the contract, but I'm sure she'll explain the situation at hand." She said trembling, apologizing about the situation profusely.

I groaned at her stuttering, her trying to explain the contract to me is like me trying to talk to a hostage that I just kidnaped. Her expressions of fear were clear, thinking I might bite her at any second.

"look just wait outside, could you do that? I need some time to think."

"O-of course sir." She forcibly smiled at me, stumbling to the door.

"Ah~ you must be the new assistant, Milda. Right ?"

I heard a familiar sweet tone, smiling at the thoughtless blond who almost fell over the ground, "Y-yes, it is, you must be Miss, Alyssa." Milda said trembling again. I sighed trying to signal her to get out of the room dismissively, which thank god she got. And she quickly scurried out of the room, not looking back.

I rolled my eyes finally having room to breathe. With the bimbo gone I can finally feel like a human rather than a butcher about to stab someone.

"Alyssa." I greeted.

Alyssa bellowed sitting down on the other side of me on a white chair with a small light blue fluffy pillow, that she placed on her thighs.

"You know, Dave. You should treat her, nicer." She offered, surprisingly relaxing on the couch.

I scoffed," I would. If she stooped staring at me like I'm about to commit arson."

She giggled. And it made my bones relax, mellowing to the couch, even though the couch was making my back stiff like wood meeting a concrete expensive couch, I thought about moving but Alyssa had always had an energy that settled on everyone, making them joyous to her cake sweet voice. So I settled on enduring the uncomfortableness to have settled on having small talks before the door creaked open.

"What's up!" A loud childlike voice chimed in the room. And my mind knew that tone too well, and my brain started 'Panic mode' Where I had to make sure everything I did was perfect and immaculate.

"Clay. You're late." Alyssa looked at the dirty blond who was dress like he was just at a fashion show.

"Oh?" He merely responded, closing the door behind him.

Alyssa changed her sweet tone to an impatient low tone, staring Clay down with her brown dusty eyes, "What's your excuse this time?"

The blond male callously ignored Alyssa sitting down next to me with a straitened yet chill comfort, which made me instinctively fix my posture, waking up my spine from falling asleep.n It was honestly annoying. At the mere mention of Clay's name my body would overfill with certain hateful emotions, and it's not a good thing when you work with the guy.
