Your plea to let us in was never unheard.
The sight of your pretty smile on our first meeting; my heart was robbed

I realized I like you when I waited for your return,
I realized I love you when your moves and attitude made my heart smitten

You were not like everyone, you were different,
You dint find me arrogant like others instead making me your friend was only your interest.

I realized I like you when I secretly watched you from a distance for a while,
I realized I love you when I smiled seeing you smile.

You were most mischievous, you were lively,
When uncle asked you few questions you answered all of them wisely.

I realized I like you when dreaming about you time flies,
I realized I love you when I saw you with my closed eyes.

You found happiness in all your punishment,
Your potrayal of me made me look at you with astonishment.

I realized I like you when I missed your tease,
I realized I love you when in crowd you made me feel ease.

Your heart was pure, your intentions were to help the needy and poor,
On lantern festival your wishing showed me a way of living a life without regret and fear.
