"No! I am not going to babysit Claire," My twin sister and I said at the same time. "Mrs. Birch would like it alot if you babysat Claire. Plus one of you will get paid." My mom said, " Please, I already promised Mrs. Birch that you guys will do it." We both were silent. She gave us the pretty-please-with-a-cherry-on-top. Her facial expression was like a dog begging for a treat. Mrs. Birch was our neighbor next store. She had a daughter named Claire, who was in 2nd grade. "Fine. I will babysit her." I declare. I really didn't want to but I needed some extra cash. "Thank you, Sweetie!" my mom says. "Please don't ever call me sweetie ever again", I announced to my mom. She always says that.

By the time I was ready to go over, Anna had already ditch the house to go hang out with her friends. Anna was my twin sister and was the youngest between us. I was a natural leader and she was more of the assistant. This is not how I want to spread my Friday night. As I walked out the door, I call out "Good-bye." I walked the 30 step walk to The Birch's house. As I knocked on the door, someone opened it. "Why, hello dear," Mrs. Birch said. "Everything is out and ready. The telephone numbers are on the fridge." Clair ran up and grabbed my legs, holding on to them tight. "Ok, thanks," I managed to mumble out as I tried to walk in. Clair wouldn't let go, and I was kinda getting annoyed. I know that that is not a thing babysitters should say
