                            AUTHOR'S NOTE

So this chapter is after the entrance exams and takes place on the first day of school.

A reminder that this story may not always follow the cannon story but I will try to keep it as close as possible.  Also your quirk will be explained in this chapter. So enjoy :)

Your POV

I still couldn't believe the Eraserhead had agreed to take me on as his assistant. He even advocated for me, as Nezu had said. I blushed at the thought of Eraserhead standing up for me. I mentally slapped myself, I need to get that thought out of my head and begin to to prepare for the school year. After getting all my information officially set up through 1A, I received a file from Shota Aizawa labeled 20XX school year lesson plans. Attached to the file was a message that read; "If you have any questions save them for the school year as we are still on break." Well I certainly have my work cut out for me. I studied Aizawa's lesson plans meticulously which was difficult given how disorganized they were. Aizawa barely had any notes and were quite vague. Still I did my best to memorize them.

The summer goes by and eventually I receive the Class 1A roster from Principal Nezu. I studied each of the student's files feeling a little creepy memorizing a bunch of kids information. One student in particular stood out to me, Izuku Midoriya, who got in on rescue points alone. I wondered what kind of student he would be in class.

Summer break ended sooner than I expected and my first day at UA was already here. As I walked into the campus briefcase in hand you took in a steady breath trying to steady yourself. I had studied and prepared all summer so why did I feel so nervous? Part of it was working with Aizawa and my lack of experience as a teacher. As I walked in the doors I was greeted by principal Nezu.

"Ah, hello Miss L/N, so good to see you, since you're here early would you like a short tour," Nezu asked politely.

"Not unless it's changed a lot since I went here," I replied.

"Very well, let me just direct you to the classroom you and Aizawa will share," Nezu said already walking away. I followed Nezu quickly not wanting to get left behind. The school's layout was fairly similar to what I remembered, of course the few upgrades here and there. Once I reached Aizawa's classroom Nezu wished you good luck on your first day and scurried off. I stood in front of the closed door unsure of whether to knock or to just go in. Better to knock and be safe. I knocked a good few times with no answer.

"Mr. Aizawa?" I called out but no answer. I reluctantly pulled on the door handle and opened the door to see Aizawa sound asleep in what looked like a sleeping bag. In all honesty he looked absolutely ridiculous and kind of adorable. I mentally slapped yourself for thinking about the last part. This has to be a strictly friendly coworker relationship, nothing more. I peered down at Aizawa's sleeping form feeling a tad awkward just standing there watching him sleep. I wasn't sure whether to wake him up or not. What if he got angry at me for waking him up? Though class was going to start in fifteen minutes. I did a slight cough hoping that would wake him up but Aizawa didn't move a muscle. "Mr. Aizawa," I called out, and still he did not move. I slowly reached forward to gently nudge him when my hand was caught mid movement. I looked down to see Aizawa staring at me intensely, after a moment he let go of my hand. "I'm so sorry Mr. Aizawa I didn't mean to startle you," I quickly apologized. Aizawa slowly got out of his sleeping bag and stood up. I had never stood next to Aizawa before and I was shocked at how tall he was compared to me. Aizawa sighed and rubbed the back of his neck.

"It's fine," he said in a deep gravelly morning voice that made me shiver.

"Is there anything you want me to do before the students arrive," I asked.
