What does your typical day look like?

Nothing exciting that is for sure lol. It is the usual 9-5 grind and wherever I can, I squeeze writing in. Two things I will not skimp on though – lots of sugar, lots of sleep.

5.

Do you write alone or in public most times?

Alone. I need to be alone or else I will not write! I get distracted easily. Hahaha. It doesn’t even have to be much.

Oooh look! A butterfly! XD 🦋

If you ever get a chance to read my book, you will instantly tell which character is most in my likeness. If you have read my book – feel free to guess. It won’t be hard.

6.

What tactics do you have when writing? (For example: outline or just write)

I must have a plan, or at least a rough outline so that I have some semblance of order to follow. (Easily distracted – remember?)

It doesn’t always work – especially when I find myself throwing everything up in the air because I have decided to change everything from plot to characters. Hahaha. Then things tend to get exciting in a different way.

7.

What book that you have read has most influenced your life?

Enid Blyton’s The Enchanted Woods series and The Wishing Chair series.

I find myself still drawn to the books of my childhood. Perhaps because they invoke a sense of simplicity and innocence that is so beautiful. As children, you don’t know how complicated the world is, do you?

8.

Do you have a favorite published author?

Enid Blyton.

And I love all the queens of historical romances – Johanna Lindsay, Catherine Coulter, Jude Deveraux to name a few.

9.

Of all the characters you have created, which is your favorite and why?

I absolutely love all my characters – heroes and villains equally because they all bring something different to the table (humans are wonderfully complex).

But if I had to choose a favorite character, it would have to be Isabella – the main heroine of my Amara Kingdom series.

While she may seem naïve and reckless at first glance, I find her desire to do good things her greatest strength.

She doesn’t let others tell her who she is, or who she should be. She acts upon how she feels and she does things mostly because they feel right.

While her plans may or may not turn out well – the point is that she always has good intentions. Plus, who doesn't love a pain-in-the-ass heroine? They keep things interesting XD
