Chapter 3: Hide and Seek

Peter can you please come with me to my office?" "Yes sir" "Just call me Tony."

*one day later*

*beep beep* The alarm is louder than the Avengers fighting in a war with lots of background music. S.U.S.I. turn off the alarm for me please. "Yes ma'am"

S.U.S.I.'s voice is so robot-y. I really need to work on that one...

You walk downstairs as you see something moving behind the couch. "DAD, IS THAT YOU?" You shout to make sure there's no stranger in your house. "Uh hi Y/N, Im sorry, Thor and I are playing hide and seek to improve my hiding skills. You can join if you want?" " Uh sure, after I have my coffee" "Oh okay"

Peter's POV:
"10, 9, 8, 7..." You run trough Tony Starks very own house to find a good hiding spot.

Why is this house so big?! I can't even find a good hiding spot. Ughh, this house is so AWESOME...

"6, 5, 4..." When you walk past the stairs, through the living room you see a good hidingspot behind the couch and hide there. "2, 1, IM COMING" suddenly you hear someone shout something "DAD, IS THAT YOU?" It's her.. Y/N Stark.

How can she be so gorgeous in the morning?! When I wake up I look like a piece of shit...

"Uh, hi Y/N, Im sorry Thor and I are playing hide and seek to improve my hiding skills. You can join if you want?" You say very *not* subtly. "Uh sure, after I have my coffee." "Oh, okay" you see that Thor entered the room "found ya" "Thor did you hear what just happened?? Y/N agreed to play hide and seek with us!!" "Don't get your hopes up to high, Peter. She has never liked a guy before and besides, Stark would never you date her.." Tony Stark walked in the room "I would never let him date who??" "Forget it" Thor says "Okay, anyway Point Break come with me. I gotta show you something." Thor and Tony both walk off as you hear Tony whisper to Thor "who we're we just talking about" "We're not gonna talk about it" Thor whispers back.

You walked into the kitchen where   Y/N is making her coffee. "Hi" her voice sounded as sweet as glazed donuts. "Hi." We stood there in silence. "I-Im sorry about yesterday. Do you still have that stain in your shirt?" You stuttered. "Well, yeah I do actually. By the way, I am the one who had to say sorry... I shouldn't have shown you S.U.S.I. in the first place." You stood there and all you could say was "oh."

Y/N's POV:
Your cappuccino was ready. "By the way, we're not playing hide and seek anymore. Thor had to come to see Tony. I-I mean your dad ofcourse." "Oh alright." "Uh, and why did your dad call Thor 'Point Break'?" "Well, my dad has nicknames for literally everyone so you can expect to get one too.." Dad walks in looking for someone "Hey kid, there you are" "See" I said looking at Peter, he chuckled.

"Uh hi honey, I want to talk to you around 11.30 AM" you look at the clock to see what time it is; 10.18 AM. "Sure" you walk upstairs again to enjoy the rest of your morning.

Peter's pov:
I walked to the room Tony gave me awhile ago to stay if we were on a mission. It was huge like all Tony's rooms and it has a perfect spot to practice with my webshooters. I layed on the bed which was always made in case I had to stay over. Today was one of those days. A lot of people have gone insane after the blip and our last mission*. People blame us, the Avengers, for causing the mess. It's crazy how people will always find a way to blame others. They don't fully understand that it will hurt us in a way, because we were the ones saving them. Although a lot of people DO love us for saving them, there are people attacking us about it. We recently got a threat. It was a letter that said: pay or die. It was really strange and kind of scary to be honest. "Hey Peter" "Uh hey Y/N, why are you here?" I quickly sit up. "I was just checking how you were doing." "I'm doing pretty good, thanks!" "Good." There was an awkward silence, which is not rare.. It happens pretty often. "You?" "What" "Uh how are you doing?" That save was absolutely pathetic."Oh, haha I'm doing pretty good actually! I've come to an idea." "Oh really?" "Yeah, we should watch the sunset tonight!" Well I didn't see that coming. "Yeah, we should definitely do that!" "Great! See you at 8 am on the hill?" "Yeah, alright. See you at 8"

*time skip*

As I'm walking up to the top of the hill, I see Y/N already sitting there. "I got snacks for us!" She announces happily. "I got mini pizzas, smores, chocolate bars, brownie M&Ms, and your favorite: May's cherry pie.." "What really?! How did you get that?" "I asked her, duh." "Why would you do this for me?" As I'm sitting down I realise how incredibly pretty the sun is setting. All colors are there: yellow, pink, red, purple, blue and even green! It's gorgeous, just like Y/N. She finally answers. "Because I like you." Okay that was sweet. "Like like you." Excuse me what did she just say? "Uh what? Did I hear it right: you like like me?" "Yeah, haha" I can't believe what I'm hearing. This is a dream come true. Why would she pick me? The most gorgeous, amazing, smart, pretty girl. Did I say gorgeous already? "I-I uh I like like you too."

"Ooh little Peter likes someone. It isn't Nat, is it." I open my eyes to see Y/N walk in the room laughing. Shit, it was a dream. "What are you doing here?" "I had to tell you that my dad needs you in his workshop by 9 am" 9 am? I slept the whole night like this?! "Okay" "See ya" She waves goodbye "See ya" I look at my alarm. 8:53 am. Shit I only have 7 minutes. I rush out of bed and get myself ready to go to Tony.
