"He's 22, like just turned 22. I don't know why Fee dating his young ass. She could do so much better." Denise said while smacking on her gum. One reason I hated talking on the phone with her, she seemed to only smack on the phone.

"I don't see anything wrong with it." I shrugged because I really didn't. She was only two years older than him and they looked good together. Plus it wasn't like he was underage.

"I don't like Fee. I'm only cool with her because of Blu." She sighed. I don't get why she didn't like her.

"Are you dating this Blu person? You've been talking about him a lot." I asked because she has. We were supposed to went to a concert yesterday but she said she was with Blu so we invited Fee since I had already bought the tickets. It's like every time we plan something she's canceling for him.

"I have to go Avon just texted me." I told her. He was taking me to lunch to make up for the other day. He said he was tired from work so he slept all day that day.

"Gir- never mind have fun." She hung up. She didn't even answer my question so I assumed she didn't want to talk, she got dry out of nowhere.

I looked at the phone in confusion but thought nothing of it. Maybe she was having a bad day. I finished my hair right on time because Avon was knocking on the door. I smiled to myself before grabbing my purse and heading downstairs.

"This restaurant is nice." I told him with a smile. It was in a nice quiet area. I've never been here before of even heard of it.

"Yeah I've been here a couple of times." He checked his phone for the third time since we've been here which was only 15 minutes. He never even mentioned this place to me which I thought was weird since he's been here a couple of times.

"Do you have somewhere to be?" I looked at him confused. It was making me upset since we haven't done anything together for months now.

"No. I'm sorry." He said. I sighed and waited on our food. As soon as it got here, we ate in silence. At this rate I could've stayed home. It felt like every other night when I'm home alone.

"You ready?" He asked. I didn't even say anything, I stood up and headed towards his car. He didn't even open my door like he normally would. I was just ready for him to drop me off at this point. I just didn't get the point of him taking me to a date just to not talk to me.

"I'll see you later?" Avon asked when he pulled up to my condo. I frowned up my face and lightly laughed before grabbing my stuff and opening the door.
