The times we live in

Normality, a word so ancient to present
What we now call 'normal' different...
Everyday seems to drag
Long, never ending, sad days
Filled with mourning and grief
Times to remember...

A day today like the neck of a giraffe
A year today like rain
For the people have wept in grief

Trying to understand it,
Continously questioning
Making up assumptions
Finding irrealavent conclusions
in hope to answer the question
the most asked question
the question we as humans can't seem to answer,
Why?

Now exacerbating the time we're trying to live by
We may not, not at all
Be in contact with others,
With those whom we love
Those whom we miss
We yearn to gather with family,
to laugh and joke,
to have our old normal back.

Yes, it gets to us
pain and sorrow,
feelings weighing down on you.
You fight,
you try to be sedulous.
But it's hard,
endearing the pain,
occupying onself
and trying to avoid depression.

This large amount of pressure
On majority of humankind's population
How to survive...
How to live through these times...
How to encourage onself and others...
It's time to turn to God,
it's time to repent,
it's time to have unconditional faith.
For that's the only way to survive
in  The times we live in.
