"Why the hell aren't you married yet?!" Singhal ng lola ni Key sa kabilang linya
Margarita Adams was calling for his 34th birthday via skype. Napakaganda at napaka-smart pa rin ng 86 years old niyang lola. Kasalukuyan itong nasa US kasama ang pamilya ng nakababata niyang kapatid na si Tanya. At gaya ng taon taon nitong ginagawa, she would call him on his birthday at magtatalo sila as to why he remains single.
"La, I'm still enjoying my bachelor life" giit niya
"You are 34! Tanya already had a 9 year-old daughter and she is way younger than you are!"
Paano eh maagang nag-asawa ang kapatid niya? Tanya reasoned that she just met her destiny early. So bakit pa patatagalin? She got married at 19. Bagay na labis ikina-disappoint ng mga magulang nila. Their mother even had a heart attack at muntik na itong maparalisa.
Pero ang konsintidor nilang lola ay dinala pa si Tanya at ang pamilya nito sa Amerika.
"Lola, there's no need to rush. I'm happy being single" he saw Lyca, his girlfriend for the week, waving through the glass door of his office
"I can't believe you Key! When do you even plan to settle down?"
"I don't know la, but not yet very soon" kinawayan niya rin si Lyca, sinenyasan niya ito na maghintay
"Whatever... Hey I have a better idea" nagliwanag ang mukha ng matanda
"I'm sure I won't like that" kilala niya ang lola niya, siguradong hindi siya nito titigilan "I better hang up now, my girlfriend just arrived" sinubukan niyang umiwas
"Hep hep!" Pigil nito "Don't you even dare Key Adams!"
"I already made myself clear lola, I'm not tying the knot anytime soon, okay?" He ended the call pero agad ding tumawag ang lola niya bago niya maibaba ang headset. Hindi na dapat niya sasagutin pero na-guilty siya "What?" He tried to be calmed as possible
"Do you remember Chelsie?" His grandmother was smiling really wide and he hated it
"Don't you ever think!" Nanlalaki ang mga mata niya at the thought of his sister's friend
"I think she'd love to come with me to visit you"
"Lola no way!" He literally shouted, no freaking way!
"You better find yourself a wife before we arrive or else you know what will happen"
"Lola, don't even dare -!"
But his grandmother already ended the call. No, no, no!
Chelsie is his living nightmare. He wouldn't want to see her ever again!
