(Y/N) was on the hunt for a place to stay yet again. Her original home had been destroyed in a house fire due to some people who were out to get her and her last home just wasn't suitable enough for her liking, sometimes she wondered if she should go above ground but she quickly realised if she did she would likely be arrested. If you lived in the underground it's usually because you work in illegal businesses either way a lot of illegal things happened in the underground to the point that whether you were involved in them or not, you were held accountable.

The (H/C) stopped at a house, there were no lights from inside and it was deadly quiet which was strange as there would usually be toxic families living in houses like the one she stood at, constantly shouting, but there was silence. She stepped forward and knocked on the door- no answer. Looking around, she takes her chances and opens the door stepping through.

The house was cold and there was an awful smell coming from one of the rooms.

(Y/N) walked around checking the rooms deciding to check the room that smelt last. There was a small kitchen with very little supplies, the food in the fridge was rotten and there was only a table and two chairs in the center of the room. The house was very simplistic only containing the necessities (Y/N) wondered why the last owners left, the house wasn't half bad.

She finally makes her way to the room with the bad stench, holding her nose, she turns the  handle to the door to be faced with a dimly lit room. She could just about see a bed, a body laying stiffly on it. Still clenching her  nose, (Y/N) cautiously walks up to the body praying it wasn't what she thought it was.

She looked down to see what she decided was a woman's body but she could barely tell, her body was extremely decayed, (Y/N) figured she had been left here rotting for a while. She takes the sheets of the bed and pulls it over the poor woman's face.

(Y/N) decided perhaps she shouldn't stay here.

She was  about to leave the room when she hears a floorboard creak. She swiftly turns back looking around the dark room. In the corner was a small child clutching their knees to their chest, their sunken eyes were staring back at (Y/N) and their hair a mess, the child looked extremely malnourished.
"Hello?" She calls out to the child wondering if it was even alive, they looked skeletal and as though they hadn't moved from that spot in a while. (Y/N) couldn't tell whether the child was a girl or a boy as they were seeming to be wearing what she guessed was their mother's robe as to how big it was on them.

"Do you have a name?" She calls out again getting closer to the child, she could see it better now. She guessed they were boy as to their features being slightly more masculine. (Y/N) could now see that the boy was surprisingly alive as he was blinking slowly and she could only just see his shoulders moving up and down to indicate breathing. She put a hand out to which the boy looks at her his eyes wide before taking her hand and gripping it loosely. His hand was way smaller than her own and felt sickly thin, she wanted to help the child.

"Can you stand or walk?" (Y/N ) asks the boy trying to help him up. The boy stood up his knees buckling beneath him threatening to fall, she moves quickly and swiftly catches the child before he fell now realising the boy was too weak to walk.

(Y/N) sighs picking the boy up in her arms and heads for the house exit to get the boy some food before she is stopped by a tall man wearing a hat who just entered the house. He stared at her then looked down at the boy in her arms.
"What do you think you're doing with him?" He snapped giving her a menacing glare, it was enough to make anyone terrified but (Y/N) had been through a lot that a couple of threats from him didn't scare her, besides she only wanted to help the poor boy in her arms.

"I'm helping this child, now if you'd move and let us out I can do that." She explained holding the boy more tightly.
The man pushed past the two of them heading straight for the room that woman's body was in. (Y/N) was wondering if she should leave while the man was distracted but his concern for the boy and the woman made her stay in case he was perhaps a relative.

The man walks out of the room after a couple of minutes he had the same expression he did as when he entered, he stared down at her and the boy in her arms yet again before exiting telling (Y/N) to follow him.

"So, what is your relationship with this boy?" She asks after a little while of walking, the boy was light in her arms and kept the same blank expression on his face, the boy must of been through a lot of trauma she thought to herself feeling bad for him and now wanting to help the boy even more now.
"He's my sisters kid, his name's Levi." The man answers continuing to walk ahead. So he was his uncle.
"And what about your name?" (Y/N) asks. The man was mysterious and it enticed her to want to learn more about him.
"What about yours?" He snaps back turning around to face (Y/N) a smirk plastered on his face.
"(Y/N)" she says pushing past him as they reached the bar.

"Kenny." He says catching up to her.
