i woke up the following morning to my phone ringing with a call from corpse.
i quickly answered and put the call on speaker in order to hear him
"good morning darling" his voice rang through my phone
"good morning corpse"
"well i am about to leave. there is traffic so i should see you in an hour"
"sounds good. do you want to go to lunch when you get here?" i asked
"i would love that"
we decided to go by a seaside restaurant then hang out on the pier for a little bit. i got up shortly after ending the call and searched my closet for an outfit
i chose a simple outfit that was breathable since it was quite warm out today.
i took outfit pictures then went back to my bathroom to straighten my hair and do some light makeup
i tried to ignore the small bit of tiredness that filled my body but it was hard
once my hair and makeup were done almost 50 minutes had passed. i sighed and went to my room to find my phone ringing with a call from corpse
"hello sweetie" i answered
"hello. i am pulling onto your street right now and will be up in a minute"
"my door is open so you can just walk in"
"okay. i'm excited to see you" his deep voice spoke through the phone
"i'm excited to see you as well"
"good girl. well i will see you in a second"
"see ya corpse"
"see ya astro"
i couldn't help but feel butterflies erupt in my stomach at the thought of corpse walking through my apartment at any moment. i took a deep breath in
a few seconds later my front door opened to reveal my best friend dressed in his own merch hoodie, black jeans, and black converse.
"you're here" i said before walking up and hugging him
"i'm here"
"you can put your stuff in the guest room. i need to post on instagram before we go"
"you are such a content creator" he spoke jokingly before walking to the guest room
