I heard the loud ring of my alarm clock. I haven't heard that in a while. I hated it. I sat up and stretched my long arms.

I could smell the sweet scent of Bacon. My mom must be home still. She usually leaves for work around, 6 AM.

I rubbed my eyes, and stood up. I stumbled downstairs and saw my mother actually smiling.

"Why are you so happy this morning?" I asked sitting on the bar stool in front of her.

"I met someone." She grinned.

"Congratulations." I smiled. She smiled back but she had a look as if she was still hiding something important.

I looked and seen cardboard boxes.

"Why's there boxes?" I said slowly.

"Well, the man I met is named, Roger. He wants us to move in with him." She said faking her smile.

"Move? No way!" I said with anger.

"Honey, I know it's a huge step and it's a little hard to take on but, I really like this guy, and he likes me." She said rubbing my shoulder.

"What about your job? You're just going to give up on it? You've worked there for almost 14 years!" I yelled.

"Their going to be transferring me to a different building." She smiled.

"Where does this, Roger guy live?" I said still nervous.

"He lives in... California." She gulped.

"I'm NOT doing this." I said almost crying. All my friends live here. My boyfriend lives here. I turned around and ran quickly upstairs to my bedroom. I live in Florida. That's across the entire country.

I've never been on a plane before, and honestly I don't want to. My best friend, Ally's parents just got into a divorce and she needs me.

My boyfriend, Parker and I have been dating for almost 2 years. I can't just leave him. This is all to much.

I heard my mom knock on my door.

"Honey, it'll be okay. Roger has an extra MacBook. You can use that to Skype your friends." She said. She obviously knew my pain. I felt happy for my mother though. She finally found someone. I can tell she didn't want to leave this wonderful city either. Our whole family lives here.

"Mom. It's okay." I lied. I hated fighting with her. We've both been threw a lot because my dad. He left us and took half of our money. We were on the verge of loosing our home.

We've also been threw a lot with my sister. She was only, 14 when we committed suicide. She was my mom and I's best friend. Nobody actually knows why she committed suicide. I think it's because our father. They were so close. He spent every day with her. He spent a lot of time with me, but, they had this connection.

"Maggie, please unlock your door." She pleaded. I gave in and unlocked it slowly.
