Okay, I have SO many questions. Sure, he's the hokage, i'd be difficult to take care of a kid, so just set Naruto up for adoption.

OKAY, or just leave a defenseless 3-year old all by themselves, what could go wrong? Anyways, joking aside, what the actual heck. In a world where ninjas die everyday, there's gonna be a lot of orphans, so the smart thing to do would be to open up an orphanage, get therapists for the children, emotional support, whatever. Konoha does none of that. The only reason Orochimaru turned evil was because his parents died. Without any parents he was lost, confused, and mourning, and didn't know how to react. That definitely could have been stopped if he had some good emotional support to help guide him through it all. Hiruzen thinks one speech will help an orphan find their way in life, then it's all good! Children are very emotional and impressionable people, without constant support they'll end up anti-social, depressed, or even harmful to themselves and others. Examples of this would be Kakashi, Neji, Orochimaru, Sasuke ect.

Next thing is, why did the third hokage let everyone know Naruto was a jinchuriki? Why???? So, the third hokage couldn't tell anyone Naruto was the son of Minato because that'd make him a target, makes sense. (Speaking of which, did he ever plan on telling Naruto himself Minato was his Dad???) If he couldn't tell the village that, then how did Hiruzen think it was okay to tell everyone Naruto was a jinchuriki!? That'll still make Naruto a target, if not even more!

Anyways, that's all I have to say about this! Let me know if you think Hiruzen had a good reason for his actions, I don't think he's a bad person, I just know he could've handled the situation a lot better. I also know Naruto had to go through a bunch of pain for plot reasons, but either way it's still exasperating. Bye! (Oh also, I'm too lazy to make a real cover, but I might change it soon)
