Chapter 1

    "Leandra hurry up or you're going on your own". I heard my mom yell  as I tried to put on my shoes and run downstairs at the same time."coming" I yelled back. It was my first day of college and my mom was going to drop me off at my school. I was gonna be living in the school dorm because I got a scholarship In a school far from home. "Ok let's go hope you didn't forget anything"my mom said. "No mom" I spoke trying to stuff my mouth with the pancakes she made. My mom loved me alot but she was a very strict parent. I had so many restrictions living with her. I never even attended a school party or had a boyfriend my whole high school years. But I understood since my dad left us she became so overprotective and she demanded perfection from me.
            It was a long drive but we finally arrived the school campus I was so excited but scared at the same time. It was my first time away from my mom and my comfort zone. I knew I was a socially akward person and it would be hard for me to make friends in this new school,this new city which was very big compared to mine. We walked to the reception and the receptionist gave me my dorm keys with a smile. she was an old lady but she was really nice..As we walked to the dorm I was really anxious to see who my roommate was gonna be. I just hoped she wouldn't be weird or rude. It took us a long walk to finally find dorm 32. When we got in I realized my dorm mate's stuff were already arranged in her own side of the room but she wasn't there. My mom helped me pack out my stuff and told me final good byes.. "goodbye honey I'm gonna miss you, take care of yourself okay, avoid bad company and college parties, avoid alcohol as well". My mom spoke getting a little emotional but I had to stop her before she gave me a long lecture... "Yes mom I'll miss you take care". I said while escorting her out of the dorm.she gave me a good bye kiss and I gave her a reassuring look before she left.

I woke up to the laughter and chattering of two girls sitting on the other side of the room I didn't even release when I fell asleep I was so tired after the long journey to my school. "Oh sorry did we wake you up". One of them asked she was slim and she had blonde hair...."no it's cool".I answered trying to wipe of the sleep from my eyes. "Are you my roommate?". I asked
"Duh". The other one answered  she was dark skin and she had extremely long braids..."oh".I answered. "I'm Leandra but you can call me Lea".... "Nice to finally meet you Lea, I'm Senna". She said smirking. We had small talk and ordered some food I learned the blonde's name was Lisa.. after some time Lisa left and  I went back to bed.....I was really anxious for my first day of school tomorrow.
