We walk on the sidewalk towards his car, the cold wind blowing against my skin, making me shiver. Vinnie notices this and quickly takes off his jacket, throwing it around my shoulders, like they do in basically every romance movie.

"Mmm quite the gentleman," I chuckle as we near his car.

I wait for him to open the door but he doesn't, instead he leans his body against the car, pulling me a little between his legs.

"Yea?" I question, a billion questions running through my mind. I didn't know whether he was going to tell me he'd call me an Uber or to just say this straight up was just a mistake and he didn't mean to take it so far.

"Look," he nervously chuckles, looking away from me for a second, "I don't think it's a secret that I had the biggest crush on you from high school."

My eyes widen, that is not what I had expected him to say.

Never in a million years.

"You what?" I almost whisper, completely confused by his confession.

"I never really did stop liking you," he laughs, now looking me in the eyes, "I mean look at you."

"Oh." is all I can muster. His beautiful brown eyes have left me completely speechless.

"Fuck, is this weird? I-i mean, you don't have to feel the same way or-"

"Vinnie," I chuckle, finding the fact that he's the one that's nervous extremely funny, "look at you... I never thought you even remembered how I looked."

"Are you kidding?" his eyes widen, "Savannah you've always been the most beautiful girl I've seen."

"That's a joke, wait this is a joke or something, like a prank?" I roll my eyes playfully.

"Huh?" he shakes his head confusedly, using his hand to brush his golden brown locks out of his face, "have you ever seen yourself?"

"Yea, nothing special." I look to my feet, becoming nervous under his gaze.

"Hey," he picks my head back up, his eyes kind as he stares into mine, "you're the prettiest girl I know, inside and out."

"Vinnie I-"

"We can stop if you don't want to," he sighs, "I've just been acting like a coward all these years, I figured I'd tell you now..."

"This is just so crazy," I laugh, shaking my head, "you're literally Vinnie Hacker."

He sighs again, and I immediately want to take back my words. The way I said it seemed just like every other girl in that bar.

"Don't think of me that way, I'm still the same Vinnie you knew."

"I know, I know, that came out so wrong, I'm sorry."

"Apology accepted," he says, a smirk appearing on his face.

"Why are you smiling?"

"To make it up to me, you have to let me take you out on a date right now?"

"Now?" my eyes widen. "Vin it's 11 pm!"

"Never too late to set up a projector in my backyard," he shrugs, "my family's still on their way back from Oregon, we'd have the place to ourselves."

I bite my lip, and Vinnie notices, making his chest rise a little.

"That's attractive," he laughs, looking down at my bottom lip between my teeth, then back up into his eyes.

I decide to not act like a little bitch, and instead like a confident one, just like how I was when Molly was here. Wrapping my arms around his neck, I push myself more into his chest, colliding our lips.

It takes a second for him to kiss back as I probably had surprised the shit out of him, but nevertheless, his mouth starts moving in sync with mine.

His lips are soft and fit so perfectly with my own, the kiss is not too rough, but not too soft. The feeling was more than enjoyable, and I was happy to feel Vinnie smile against my lips.

We pull away after a few moments, as I get nervous about making out with him on the sidewalk.

"I've wanted to do that for so fucking long," he chuckles, and I nod my head in agreement.

"So have I."

"Is that a yes to the date then?" he asks hopefully, and I nod my head once again.

"Well you have me standing out here in the cold Vincent, can we go now?"
