"That's amazing," I reply, "and what about you? Any plans for the future?"
"Uh, I don't think so," he thinks for a bit, "just riding out this Tiktok fame."
We both chuckle at his honest but funny answer.
"And so what about guys?" he takes the soda from the bartender, "any boyfriends?"
I blush a little, hating that my answer was going to be an embarrassing one.
"Uh," I chuckle, "not really, no."
I notice his eyebrows raise before he fixes his expression and looks back at me, "Oh okay."
"Yea, I know, it's kinda sad-"
"No, I mean that's just crazy." he laughs.
I furrow my eyebrows, not understanding if he was trying to compliment or insult me.
"You just seem like the type of girl that has a lot of guys after you."
"Oh my god Vinnie," I laugh, "no, definitely no way, wait, uh I forgot to ask, why are you in Seattle?"
"Brother's birthday," he quickly answers, "now back to you."
I playfully roll my eyes, getting back to his stupid conversation about my love life which I know he wouldn't forget for the whole night if I didn't answer it now.
"I mean, when you have those girls over there as friends," I nod to them, making Vinnie turn his direction to them, "you don't really like... get attention from guys."
"Oh," he shrugs, turning to look at them once again, then back to me.
As soon as he did that, I felt so insecure, it was as if he looked at me and totally agreed with why I would get more attention as if they were so much better looking than me.
"Yea," I sigh, "and what about you? Any girls?"
"In LA?" he cracks up as if I've told the funniest joke in the world, "hello no."
"Huh? Why?" I furrow my eyebrows, confused at his strong reaction, "there's such pretty girls lover there."
He doesn't even think for a second, before just blurting out his answer, "they're all fake as hell."
"Understandable." I laugh, relating to his statement about having two fake friends myself, "but they must throw themselves at your feet huh?"
"Well..." he grins, "yea... but I mean they're all just looks y'know? Like they've got no personality, not like yours or-"
Before I can even process what he's said, there are two loud squeals. Looking over my shoulder, I internally give the biggest eye roll possible. Just as I started to enjoy myself, here comes Tweedledee and Tweedledum.
One by one they throw their arms around him, giving him a hug and he looks at me with wide eyes for help. I chuckle a bit in my seat, sipping on my drink and enjoying the site in front of Vinnie feeling awkward in front of me.
"Oh my god, hi!" Olivia says as she pulls away, "I literally love your videos!"
"Uh hey, what's up!" he politely laughs, making her to thank her as well for watching his content.
"What are you doing in Seattle?"
"Family stuff," he awkwardly smiles.
"Wait," she pauses and turns to look at me, "OMG were you talking to Sav?"
"Believe it or not he was Liv, can you imagine?" I speak up, chuckling as I sip my rum and coke.
"That's crazy, do you guys like know each other?" Jenna chimes in, a taste of disgust rolling off her tongue as she speaks to me.
