long time friends // fluff

Start from the beginning

"Sorry, is that inappropriate?" Olivia fakely slaps her hand over her mouth, "oh my gosh, I didn't know you cared."

The look on Thomas' face is a mix between surprise and confusion, yet there's a hint of disappointment.

"Oh my god Liv, stop you're embarrassing her," Jenna chuckles, nudging Olivia who laughs lightly as well.

"They're just joking," I look at Thomas, who looks embarrassed for me. He nods unsurely before looking around the room.

"It's not that embarrassing Sav lighten up," Olivia playfully rolls her eyes, but I can see her true intentions underneath. She did this for no other reason than for Thomas to think I'm a freak, and congrats to her, because it worked.

"She's kidding," I try again to change the mood with Thomas, but his eyes are still wide, and scanning the room.

"My buddy is calling me," he points away in another direction, "I'll catch you later, but nice talking to you ladies."

Before I can even respond, he's walked away. I honestly don't blame him though, not only did he avoid me, but also the two other real-life "Mean Girls" that I have to call my friends.

How the hell did I end up becoming friends with the two bitchiest girls in my whole sorority? That's why I didn't even want to join one in the first place, but I ended up giving in to my mom's wants. She was the president of her chapter back in her day, and nothing made her happier than me following in her footsteps.

It's a good thing I had already planned to transfer schools to LA to be closer to my dad though, I couldn't take being around these girls anymore. All I have to wait is four more months.

"Well he was rude," Olivia fake pouts, "you'll get 'em nice time Sav."

"Uh-huh," I nod, turning my head and rolling eyes at her. I stare at the drink in front of me, quickly downing it to help me get through the night.

It's been about thirty more minutes of Olivia and Jenna chatting away at the bar, and me making casual conversation with the bartender when she's not serving drinks.

That's right, when all else fails, talk to the bartender.

I also text Molly to pass time, although I know it's soon before she'll be busy and we won't be able to talk because of the time difference. At that point, I'll probably just have to facetime my dog.
