It all started at age nine, when my dad left.
My mother started drinking again...
i quietly crept up to my room, trying to hide from my mother who was currently lying on the couch. Billie was in my room sitting on my bed, facing away from me.
"Billie you okay?" i asked, scared to walk into my room.
"Livvy please don't be scared ok?
"Of course. i'm brave like you-"
She turns around, showing me her face.
"Billie what happened?" i asked shyly.
"Mom did it. We have to leave this house Olivia." She says standing up and heading to her room.
"But Kyle..."
"No buts Olivia. We're leaving." She pulls me into a hug. "I don't you to get hurt livvy."
"Okay." i pull back from the hug and start packing my things.
Little did I know that this would be the first thing that changed my whole life.
