Y/N's POV:

"I couldn't sleep on my side," Deku had his head on the table. I flicked his arm. He looked at me, "Why does it hurt still?"

"They put holes into your ear, obviously it is going to hurt," I smiled. I suddenly shivered, feeling someone's gaze on me. I turned and glared at Todoroki, "Oi, stop staring at me."

He blinked, before leaning towards me, "Can I ask you a question?" His eyes danced with curiosity as he lowered his voice, making me hesitate. He pointed to my skin, "How did you get those?"

I sighed in relief, thinking he was going to ask something worse. I leaned back on my chair, "I'll explain eventually."

He frowned, "I want to know." I didn't answer, staring at the ceiling. "Then at least accept my invitation for a battle."

My eyebrow raised, "A battle?" I looked over, "Why?"

"I win, you tell me where you got those." His face was hard as a rock, no emotion showed, "If I lose, you get to ask me any question."

"I already know everything about you," I mumbled.

"Huh?"

I shook my head, "Nothing." I tilted my head, "Why are you so interested in where I got my tatts?"

"Those aren't tattoos." Todoroki pointed to the lines, "Tattoos fade over time. And with my guess, you aren't actually our age."

My eyes widened, and I fully turned towards him, leaning towards him now. "And where did you get that from?"

"The way you carry yourself," he simply said, his face still showing no reaction. "You played your innocent card for too long, someone would have to catch on soon."

I gripped the back of my seat, "Stop making assumptions about me, you know nothing."

"Then tell me?" Todoroki said.

I squinted, debating what I should do. "Let's do a short battle then." I turned back as class started, but I was still on edge.

The whole time, I continued to tap my fingers against the table, stabbing small holes into the desk. I could feel Kirishima's questioning gaze towards me, making me calm down a little, but never face him.

The bell finally rang. I grabbed Todoroki by the wrist and excused us quickly, pulling him to the arena. I kicked the doors down, tossing him in. He obliged, not saying anything at all. I rubbed my temples, needing to calm down. "Can't bring old habits back," I mumbled to myself.

"See," Todoroki pointed to me, "What was that? About old habits?"

"Nothing," I replied quickly. I sighed, "Let's get this over with."

Todoroki watched me carefully as I scratched at my bandages. My eyes widened as I felt an aura fall upon us, and I shivered, knowing what was about to happen. I watched as a cloud overhead started to form, and Todoroki's eyes rolled back as I set up. "I'm sorry Todoroki."
