Favorite International Foods

I've tried some foods from different countries. I've never been to some said countries before tho. Mainly just the Philippines when I was younger and that's all I've had growing up. So I guess I could start with Filipino foods since that's where my Mom's from lol. Some of my favorites are Pancit (brown noodles with chicken and vegetables), Halo Halo (kind of like a mix of a smoothie and ice cream in a cup. So good), and Puto (no, not the Spanish word but it's a little rice snack that's often times colored. Sometimes tho it's better with melted cheese on it). While we're in the Asian portion of the world, I'll do Chinese food next. I haven't really had any genuine Chinese food yet. The closest being was homemade dumplings cause my step Mom's Mom and her daughter came over from China one year (this is pre Covid of course) and made like tons of dumplings. They were actually really good althought the chicken kept falling out which made me kind of sad. But they were actually really good. I recently tried some Vietnamese food, too. There's a small Vietnamese restaraunt right around the corner from where I live.  I tried their BBQ Sandwhich with Vietnamese ham. It was a lot but it actually wasn't that bad. I also tried Boba for the first time there. I actually really liked Boba. Next up, Spanish food. I would think Colombian since my step Dad is from Colombia but I'm pretty sure most of these could be found anywhere. I tried of course, tacos. I mean. It's tacos. What else is there to say? In school one time, my Spanish teacher who was from Honduras, we made Quesadillas cause she had a small tortilla cooker/grill thing and we made those. Really good. I also recently tried Churros cause my step bro had them at his wedding not too long ago back in May at the dinner reception. Those were also really good. And I think that's all from memory so far. I still want to try to many more foods but sadly I don't have a lot of money to do that yet. Maybe one day I will tho
