So upon doing some further research (well my Dad actually did the research), turns out, my grandfather's side of the family comes from Britain. My Dad was able to trace back to 990 AD and turns out, my family way back then served as Knights. Of course, our last name was spelled differently back then and eventually evolved to the modern day spelling of Bailey. Interesting little fact but if anyone in America or around the world decides to do some more family research, if your ancestors ever served under royalty/were royalty, their records were saved. At least that's how it was for my ancestors that were in the UK all those years ago. Idk about other countries.
