~Adding on Another~17~

Start from the beginning

"Did you know its quite easy to extract a bit of your own DNA from your body? You can actually do the same with a strawberry funny enough. Anyway that was an injection of a bit of DNA from yours truly." Neil placed a hand on his chest and gave a little grin.

"However you cane just inject some DNA and expect something to happen, you have to activate it somehow you know, which leads us to the main event of this experiment!"

Again, Neil strutted over to his computer and typed vigorously once more at the keys.

"Now, are you ready for you life to be turned upside down Boo?"

Boo put his hands up against the glass,

"I don't want to do this, I'm scared. I-I don't want to lose a part of me, my, um,  enderman side..."

Neil shook his head in response,

"No no don't look at it as losing a side of yourself, think of it as simply... adding on another! Some of your 'enderman side' as you call it will always be there, I can't just get rid of it completely, however it will become more of a recessive trait. In theory of course."

Neil typed a few more things then turned his head around and gave an ambitious smile to Boo.

"Now, lets get started shall we?"

Boo took his hands off the glass and began to almost hyperventilate. His world was spinning around him. He tried to put his hands around his head and stop the endless whirling; to try and make himself focus, and in a way it worked. He managed to focus in on one single thing, his reflection.

His reflection was staring directly at him from the rounded glass. Boo was scared that if he blinked he would miss it because of how transparent his own reflection had become.

Boo could see out of the corner of his eye that Neil was about to press the enter button and probably start up the main machine but he couldn't stop staring at his ghostly reflection.  It didn't speak a single word, it simply closed its eyes and shook it's head solemnly before Neil pressed the enter button and the machine sparked to life, letting his reflection fade away for good.

Then suddenly, pain.

Volts of electricity pulsed through the machine sending waves of jolting pain up and down Boo's body. He let out a static sounding scream, a common sound for highly distressed endermen. During this painful process Boo noticed some sort of gas enter the chamber -- well more like he could...smell it entering the chamber? The experiment seemed to be taking effect already...

Boo didn't have time to think too hard about it because it had seemed that Neil had amped the voltage coming into the chamber and Boo could definitely feel it. This was the most pain Boo had felt in his entire life. It was almost indescribably. But underneath the sheer amount of pain Boo almost felt like his body was changing...

The sides of his head hurt almost like something was growing out of there. The top of his head felt like hundreds of tiny needles were poking through it, and something was escaping out of those newly made holes.

He couldn't take it anymore.

Boo began to bang on the glass as hard as he could, still screeching from the pain.

From beyond his own voice Boo could hear Neil shouting at him to stop, that he was going to break the glass, that the experiment would be for nothing, but Boo didn't listen. He continued to pound his fists onto the glass, he could see cracks beginning to form on the surface. A warning light began to flash on Neil's computer but Neil didn't seem to notice, he was too busy yelling at Boo to stop.

"Boo, please you have to stop!" Neil's eyes seemed to fall upon the top of Boo's head for some reason which, for some reason, began to hurt in two separate places.

"Your causing abnormalities to grow, the experiment can't function properly if you keep this up!"

Boo didn't care at this point, he was determined to just bring an end to the pain the machine was causing him. The smell in the chamber changed to one of smoke, and the scent of something burning filled Boo's nostrils.

Finally Neil turned to his computer and noticed the now multiple warnings flashing on the screen. He ran over to it and furiously  started typing on the keyboard, trying to see if he could somehow fix it.

He couldn't.

In a state of panic, Neil turned around just in time to see Boo finally break through the glass.

"Oh shit" were the last words spoken before the entire machine exploded and everything finally went quiet...

And they all died, the end.
