There was a long pause before Gabe spoke up.
"Ummm... I have a... Confession to make," he said. "Victoria's a nice girl and all, but I was kind of just using her because her family's rich."
Victoria gasped and stared at him in shock.
"But-- you-- You said you loved me!" she sobbed. Gabe didn't say anything.
"I actually didn't see you two together," Sir Gavin said. "I just decided that it was the only way to get you to marry me, which needed to happen because I'm broke, too."
"You've got to be kidding me!" Victoria exclaimed, slightly hysterical now. Anne came over to comfort her sister.
"Ok, well, you all are going to have to transfer to other stories now, because this one isn't going to exist anymore," Sable said. "Come with me."
She led everyone out of the church to the lawn, where a large, glowing cylinder stood. One by one, each of the characters stepped inside to be transferred to a different story...

The priest went to the story The Princess Bride, and got there just in time to do the wedding of Buttercup and Prince Humperdinck.
Victoria's parents and most of the wedding guests went to Renaissance Italy, where arranged marriages were prevalent and wedding celebrations could last for days.
Sir Gavin Moron went to a a fantasy story set in medieval times, where he became a knight and found another teenage girl to annoy.
Gabe went to the story The Fairest Beauty, where he went on a quest to save a duke's daughter named Sophie, who he falls in love with.
And finally, Anne and Victoria went to present-day America, where Anne eventually got married and Victoria decided she was done with guys and opened a bakery.
And they all lived--
Oops, sorry. That's cliche.
The End.

Author's Note:
The Princess Bride is an actual story/movie, and not from my imagination. The Fairest Beauty is an excellent book written by Melanie Dickerson, and is also not from my imagination. I do not claim either of these works as my own, and I give full credit to their authors.

Ok, now that that's done, hello readers! I am so happy that you have taken the time to read this story; please comment and vote. And now, a little background...
I wrote this during a five day writing class at College For Kids at Winona State in Winona, MN. It started out as the absolute worst historical fiction love story I had ever written. I couldn't even look at it for a year or so after that. However, just last night I found it again, and decided that I could maybe make it better. So I typed up all but the last page of it, making some minor edits, and then I came up with a whole new ending, which I am pretty proud of. So anyway, thank you for reading and please let me know if you liked it!
