"You'll see when you come, Vincent." Kai taunts as he starts to walk backwards towards the door after stepping out of the ring, "Don't be late-" He opened the door, "I'll see you later, yeah?" he yelled as he pushed out the exit of the building. Kai's laughs can be heard even from outside as he whoops in celebration.
Vinnie's smile fades as he looks around the now silent, empty room.
"Sure," he mutters under his breath.

A loud sigh of relaxation escaped his mouth as his body hit the soft material of the mattress. He closes his eyes and laid still on the bed for a few moments, basking in the comfort that it was giving for his exhausted and sore body.
His eyes fluttered open as he heard his door open, followed by the sound of it closing with a loud bang.
"I thought I told you to only use the key I gave you for emergencies, Tiffany." He mumbled, loud enough for her to hear.
"Vinnie get up," Ignoring his remarks, she walked into his room, "Get up now." she emphasized as she kicked at his feet dangling from the bed, standing there while waiting for his response.
"What do you want?" He mumbled, not moving as he began to close his eyes once again and slinging his arm to rest over his eyes.
"Your father sent me to come and see how you are-" She responded to his question, taking a seat on the small couch placed near his bed.
"Since when do you get orders from him?" He said in between his teeth, scratching the back of his neck.
"Since he threatened to close my boxing match, and yours." She almost yelled at him, flustered by how he calm he looked.
"Relax," He let out a low grunt, dropping his arms to rest on both sides of him, focusing on his own breathing, "What does he want?" He questioned again after a few moments of silence.
"He wants to speak to you Vinnie-" She answered, "Face to face, soon." She continued, crossing her legs as she hugged herself due to the chill of the room.
"Mhmm." Vinnie hummed in response, not amused or seemingly bothered at all.
"Vincent I'm serious," She sent him a worried look, "Only you know how dangerous he can be, so listen to me and answer his calls." She hesitated before speaking again, "I have a bad feeling in my heart-" She stared at his still figure as she continued, "Something is telling me that your father is planning something dangerous."
"When is he not?" He answered merely with a scoff, not opening his eyes as he shifted his body closer to the end of the bed.
"Just please for the love of god, go and talk to him, I'm not going to allow my boxing career to end because of him." She stood up from her seat on the couch, "I've already lost enough." She took in a deep breath, grabbing her purse, "And you have too, so please be careful." She added, adjusting the purse over her shoulder, "See you tonight Vin." With that, she finishes and walks out the door.
"Later." He yelled back, finally getting up from his spot and making his way towards the shower.
***
He could hear the distinct screams of his best friend through the crowds as he passed through all the sweaty bodies, the thundering music playing from every side of the mansion as he struggled to spot his friends.
"Hey! Ayo Vin-Dog!" He turned around to see Kai yelling his usual nickname. He instantly knew how drunk his friend must be for him to use that name, knowing he strictly only used it if he was cheering him on in a match or if he was on cloud 9. There really was no in between for him.
