Stanley is a just an average polish kid growing up , right outside of Warsaw. Poland is thriving, people are happy The economy is flourishing and peace is at an all time high in war ravaged Europe. But all good things must come to and end.
This all...
Journal Entry #1: My babcia tells me I should start doing these little entries of my everyday life. After all she did buy me this notebook . Might as well put it to some use, she says that everything in history should be documented. I honestly don't know why I'm important in history , or what purpose this will serve.
After all I'm just a kid from Poland, not only do I not care for school, and I spend most of my time listening to music! I love classical German music . Everything I just described sounds pretty normal to me, nothing worth writing about !
I guess history could write a book about my best friend Peter Zuckelman . He always smells like cow manure ! He's such a dirty kid , his parents are farmers and he is always out there helping them tend the field for their livestock, day in and day out . I will say however I never see the kid at school, wish I could be like that .
The Zuckelmans moved here from Germany two years ago . They like to keep to themselves other than when Peter and I play outside in the fields during the summer all day, his parents always invite us over for dinner every Sunday . My favorite dish they make is Holishkes.
It's a very good baked cabbage role, when I ask Mamo why we don't make anything like that, she tells me it's because it's a sacred dish . I never thought Germans made that stuff, I looked inside the recipe book and it was in a language I don't recognize . I wonder if they are really German .....
Either way, here is a picture I stole from Peters mom's recipe book.

Looks good don't it . I know my mouth is watering just looking at it .
My Mamo tells me to be thankful for everything we have! I'm very thankful, what can I say other than my Tata is the best tailor in Warsaw . He works on suits for the richest of the rich ! Men come from all over Europe just to get fitted for their business attire from my Tata.
I could go on and on for days but , I'm going to have to pick up tomorrow . Dinner is almost ready. - Stanley
