Bonus Chapter #1: NYU Surprise!

Start from the beginning

Yeah he was busy and everything, but I just couldn't help being a little selfish. I should at least call him. I scrolled through my contacts and was about to click it when the nagging voice in the back of my head taunted:

You're being clingy. He needs his space.

My finger hovered over the call button.

Clingy little Harper.

Still hovering.

You cling to him like a monkey, how desperate are you? You're just clingy and-

OKAY FINE! SHUT UP NOW!

I turned my phone off and slumped back onto the couch.

Well, food and horror movies it is.

*****

The screams from my laptop speakers jolted me awake from my nap.

Damn these ghosts!

I was having such a nice dream about Will. And this darned demon couldn't find any other time to scare this woman shitless while she stupidly wanders around in her underwear.

Benny and Bree still weren't home, it was about 11 so they were still at the party. With hot randos.

And here I was, watching people being murdered.

What am I doing with my life?

I WAAANNNTT WWWIIILLLL!!

I let out a miserable groan as I got up to drink some water and soothe my parched throat.

Suddenly, the doorbell rang.

Benny and Bree weren't supposed to be back yet. Who the hell is it?

That could only mean one thing...

Those drama queens forgot their keys!

"Benny! I reminded you to take your keys!", I stomped over to the door like an angry chipmunk.

Swinging the door open, ready to yell my head off at those irresponsible idiots, I was greeted with a cocky smirk.

"Benny forgot his keys again? Ah bummer", he shook his head, feigning disbelief.

I stood there in utter shock. Frozen with my jaw opening and closing, as I tried to remember how to speak.

"You look like you just saw Tom Cruise", he chuckled, "Well I'm definitely a better guest than-",

"William stop talking",

"Ummm", he cocked a brow at me, "Okay?",

"Are you real? Or did Benny infuse my donuts with weed? And now I'm hallucinating?",

"I'm very much real", he argued.

"Brace yourself then",

"Wha-",

I tackled him with a hug, wrapping my legs around his waist and securing my arms tightly around his neck.

He felt like home. His warmth, the smell of his cologne. Everything seems in place now.

"I missed you", I sniffled, burying my face into his shoulder, "so fricking much",

"I missed you too babe", he chuckled, soothingly rubbing my back, "Now can we go inside?",

"If you think I'm letting go of you, you are under serious misconception", I mumbled.

I don't care how clingy I was being right now. I was not going to let go of this boy for as long as he was here.
