SYNOPSIS;

The sage eyes were squinted to focus on each individual walking up the field from the stadium's tunnel. Like a hawk she scanned and noticed every small detail of anything that happened on the grounds. The lads either started their warm up, chatted about with their mates, or lazily plucked dried up grass from their cleats; a Chelsea confident enough to face Real Madrid within two weeks time, confident enough to turn London blue by the end of May.

That is, however, where her doubts formed, regardless of their previous performances or the cocky attitudes from several football players. Their improvidence didn't suit them, nor did losing the games leading up to the grand finale.

       It was only when several athletes got punished by the head coach for their lackadaisical behaviour when a lazy, content smirk formed on her lips. They should be more concentrated. He should focus more, she thought bitterly. And he did. Looking up at the, nearly, empty tribune, his eyes slid over the unfilled seats until he found the only taken spot and knew she was watching him.
