~The Aftermath~

Chapter 1, ~Waking up~

~Nobody's POV.~

Main Character focus: Tanjiro Kamado

The sun was rising in Japan, since it is said that the first land the sunlight reaches is the land of the rising sun. It has been a month now since the battle against muzan. Fortunately everybody but Kagaya Sama survived, but there were a lot of injuries, very deep cuts some probably lost a bit of their senses even.

Their lives are going to be very different now since they lost their senses.

As the sun reaches the butterfly estate rays of light go through the window and onto the faces of our heroes.
The first one to awoke was tanjiro kamado. His eyes fluttered open like a a charming Prince, he looks up to the ceiling trying to remember what happened, his vision wasn't very visible either since he just woke up and has been sleeping for how long even.

His right eye is now blind so the only functioning I he can use right now is his left eye so he only saw half the ceiling.

He then heard faint sobbing noises coming from the right side of his bed since he has been in a coma for over a month he had to regain his hearing slowly. He turned his head towards where the noise was coming from and he saw his little sister Nezuko crying on the bed sheets holding a flower for him for when he wakes up.

As he watched his little sister cry, his hand would slowly Pat her on the head. His arms were full of bandages wrapped around the wound that he faced when fighting in the war. They were pretty fragile as well and very weak. Nezuko Rose her head up as she felt the head pats of her dear older brother. Tears running down her face and Tanjiro's , she adjusted her position and hugged him immediately but not too tight because she doesn't want to hurt tanjiro. Tanjiro would slightly wince  because he hasn't been used to being hugged by someone in over a month of being in a coma. But he gladly hugged her back. Tears in his eyes, happy to see that she is human again.

"Tanjiro you're back! you're alive! Please don't ever scare me like that ever again!! please...!!" She exclaimed because how worried she was to lose her only family left. Tanjiro would softly smile as he carressed her long black ebony strands of hair.
"I'm so sorry Nezuko.. I just wanted to protect you that's all.." he softly replies as he lays his head on her shoulder.
"It's okay big brother, but please if you ever want to protect me or anybody else, you got to protect yourself first otherwise who will save us and you..?" She questioned and suggested.
"Ah...Nezuko you're a smart girl" he giggled happily.

Tanjiro and Nezuko's tears would dry out eventually as she was just happy to see that her brother is still safe and sound, but weaker.

Suddenly the door burst open. And right there you can see zenitsu and inosuke crying as they ran to Tanjiro and hug him and Nezuko tightly.

"WAAAAAAH TANJIRO DON'T YOU DARE SCARE US LIKE THAT!!!!" Inosuke and Zenitsu both whined loudly. Tanjiro was wheezing because he was being hugged so tightly that Nezuko had to push them off Tanjiro because they were making him suffocate.

"Guys be careful Tanjiro still needs room to heal!!" She exclaimed.

Zenitsu and Inosuke both apologized to Tanjiro, but he forgave them easily because he's such a good boy.

While the kamaboko squad were being happy around each other, a girl was standing behind the door peaking.

Even though Tanjiro has one blind eye he was able to catch a glimpse of the girl which caused the girl to run away from the room's door.
