Snake's Affection (Ruby x Martis)

Martis is now her protector and mate. He takes care of her every need and ensures that she is well cared for. He is very protective and overly dramatic when it comes to her safety that he rarely ever allows her to go out without his supervision. Ruby can understand the reason behind his behavior. It might have stemmed from his dreadful experience of isolation and loneliness so the first thing that he has come to recognize as his must be kept safe at all cost, which she guesses is herself by now. Martis is sweet but he has a tendency to be overly possessive and sometimes aggressive. 

He has never hurt her physically but he tends to be manipulative when he doesn't get what he wants so the mind games were a bit torturous. The current pandemic is quite advantageous since she's able to stay at home while studying her lessons. But once this crisis quells, then how would Martis react to having her constantly leaving the safety of their home? He would surely throw a fit but that's something they can handle later. As long as he allows her to live a normal life all will be well. 

"Älskling, are you ready?" Ruby unexpectedly dropped the plate she was holding due to surprise. She winced due to the sound of breaking glass and scowled at her clumsiness. 

"I-- yes. I was just finishing up the last one. You startled me. Stop sneaking up on me as if I was some doe, I get scared easily when deep in thought." She scolded before playfully hitting his chest. 

"My apologies then. Let me handle this mess and go prepare yourself. We'll be leaving soon enough."

"Sure thing."

"We're here." Ruby announced as she parked her Corvette before hopping off with her boyfriend who immediately went to her side to grasp her hand as if she was some child. 

To hide his monstrous appearance, Martis used a glamor spell to look more human. In place of his 10 feet long tail is a pair of long human legs that made him tower over her while he sported leather pants and jackets like a typical guy in a motor gang. His long wild silver hair has been combed and waxed to be tamed contrary to its usual unruliness. He actually looks like a magazine model with his great height and excellent shape making Ruby feel like a child since she's not sexy nor blessed with large assets. She even noticed a few women staring at him desirously while he only kept his eyes in front of them and on her. 

"Ruby, what cereal do you want this time? They ran out of Koko Krunch so we'll have to buy something else." Martis questioned as he presented boxes of cereals for her to choose from. 

"Aww, that's so sad. I love Koko. Guess Ruby won't be getting any new toy today." said the girl solemnly making her partner smile in adoration. 

"I'll buy you a toy later. Something even better than those mini cartoons you like so much." Martis said suggestively as he stroked her head. 

"Shut it pervy snake! Let's just finish buying groceries and then get some ice cream. I need my daily dose of sugar."

"And you blame me for gaining a little weight. Come on little cutie, let's just finish getting the things on our list before you fill our cart with so many unnecessary items."

"I don't have to worry about that. You'll surely fuck the calories out of me later on anyway."

"Oh my God! Isn't that girl like 14 or something? The guy must be a massive pedophile. Is this even legal? Should we call the police?" whispered a random woman to her friend. 

"I don't know, girl. The guy looks like a thug. Maybe he kidnapped her."

"You're right! Ohh, poor girl."
