"Yay me!" You cheer, placing the little note in his shoe locker, once again you look around before making a dash towards the 2-B classroom

For the whole day, you couldn't help but feel all giddy, even your friends couldn't help but feel amused at the way you were acting
By the end of the day, you instantly finish cleaning up before heading towards the school rooftop, both anticipation and nervousness filling up your insides at the thought of finally confessing to your crush, and your grip on the letter in your hands tightens
"Alright, here we go!" You open the door just to see Miyuki and another girl who was in the middle of saying something
Your jaw drops, you were sure you were the only one who left the note in there
"Do you need anything?" She asks annoyed
"N-no um sorry," You apologize weakly before you bow and leave, leaving her on her confession
You feel tears brim at the corners of your eyes, tears from both frustration and jealousy; You just didn't get it, you were sure that you would finally be able to do it! But once again fate decided to play with you

'Damn it why am I even doing this?' He clicks his tongue, he didn't even let the girl on the rooftop finish before he turned her down and runs after you...which is still also a mystery to him but he guessed, just like what others said, love can make you do a lot of stupid things
"Huh?" You sniff and wipe the stray tears away as you wait for him to reach you
"Miyuki...did you need anything?" You ask him, managing to keep your voice stable
"You need anything from me?" He asks
Your mind becomes blank and before you know it you handed him the now crumpled letter before running off
"Oi! I just sprinted after you, you know." He sweatdrops but read the letter nonetheless

This may sound cheesy but I have like you for quite some time, I'm probably a complete stranger to you but I want to express my feelings
You see I'm a reader, I love reading and I swore at first I would only ever like fictional guys, that was until you came along. My friend dragged me out to watch the baseball team and that was the first time I noticed you, you seemed to be shining when you were playing and I couldn't help but be reminded of some characters from my book
Handsome, sporty and I guess kinda funny, that's basically the basic components of a male lead and you fit those standards perfectly
I admit at first that was the only reason I liked you but soon we ended up in the same class and the more I get to watch you the more I get to know you and the more I get to know you the more I fall for you
I tried tons of ways to try and get to confess, I got in trouble, embarrassed myself, and felt frustrated by all the times it failed but I tried to remind myself that it would be okay cause once I confess and that you hopeful accept my feelings, it would be all worth it!
I know I'm not the best at anything, I'm not the smartest, the prettiest, sportiest and most dependable but I promise I'm a good person and I can be a good partner!

You peak at the entrance of the school before looking around, making sure that nobody was around before you enter
You didn't know why you were hiding so badly, sure you made a dramatic exit but you managed to give him the letter!
'Who am I kidding? I just embarrassed myself yesterday!' You whine, opening your shoe locker and getting surprised at the sight of a note
"Meet me at the rooftop at 7:30 am..." You look at the clock and saw it was 10 minutes before 8
"Crap!" You exclaim, "In the first place why would anybody leave a note saying to come somewhere in the same morning?!" You ask as you run up the stairs, ignoring the looks other people give you
"I'm here!" You pant once you opened the rooftop door
"Oh, you're late," Miyuki says, standing up from the side
"I-yeah sorry I kinda overslept—Miyuki?!" Your eyes bulge out upon seeing Miyuki standing before you with a grin
"So...um you read my letter?" You ask as you fumble with your hands
"Yeah, I did," He answers, holding it up
"I re-read it a lot of times too...some of my teammates even managed to read a few."
"What?" You ask, your cheeks turning bright red, "Did you really..."
"No, I was just pulling your leg." He grins, it was partially a lie, they did try to read but even before they could finish a word, he plucked it out of their hands and hid it somewhere
You pout, "Jeez that made me worried," You mumble
"So...what do you say? Do you like me too?" You ask, trying to keep your voice audible but in the end, it became quieter and quieter
"Well...." He acts as if he was thinking, further making you nervous
"Well?"
"I guess if I had to say, I really like you too." He smiles as you felt your shoulders lighten and your heart burst
"Really?" You squeak
"I do." He says honestly, "And I thought you would have noticed, considering the number of romance novels you read." He muses out
"I-" You really didn't have anything to say back at your own ignorance
"So...can I hug you?" You open your arms awkwardly as he laughs, accepting your hug as well
It was awkward, you can tell he wasn't used to it, but you wouldn't exchange it for anything else
