I only figured this out last year or so 💀. Previously I used to use Phonto for text and then opened it in IbisPaint x lol.
1.Open the text tool and tap 'font'

2. Tap the + symbol

3. You should see this.
Tap a website. I use dafont.com
Oops! This image does not follow our content guidelines. To continue publishing, please remove it or upload a different image.
4. Tap the download button and the font will automatically download.

5. Your downloaded font is now available in IbisPaint x under 'Web fonts'.
