What We Can Do For Now

In front of me was a woman with black
shoulder length hair, she stood tall with
both her yellow gloved hands on her hips

I couldn't make out what she looked like
or what she wore but all I could see
is the white cape that flowed behind her

"Young man" she started. Her voice
sounded familiar yet I don't remember
anything about this woman

"Choose your own path, thrive for your goals, not someone else's" she said.
Her words echoed in my head

For some odd reason I felt connected to
this woman, like I've known her for
my entire life but I only see her in my dreams

"Be yourself, don't let others judge
you for who you really are" she said and turned her head towards me
revealing her black charcoal eyes

I tried reaching out for her or communicate
with her but nothing came out of my mouth

Then suddenly she disappeared leaving me confused and alone with many questions

Who was she?

Is she real?

Is she a hero?

Did she mean the words she said?

I jolted up in my bed with wide eyes and gasping for air at the sudden dream

Turns out my awakening alerted my older sibling as he barged into the room with his all black outfit and father on his face

"What happened? Is there a hero? Is something wrong?" Tomura said in worry as he saw nothing but me in my bed gripping my shirt and panting for air

"Y-yea I'm fine just a bad dream" I said still a little shaken up

"... Alright. Oh this came in the mail for you" Tomura said handing me an envelope as I stood up from my bed and put on my gloves

"Really, what is it?" I questioned taking it from my brother holding it with both hands and pinkies up

"It might be the acceptation letter from UA" He said and walked away from my room

I stared at the letter for a while and closed my door and sat at my desk never taking my eyes off of the letter

It's been a month or two since the entrance exam for UA and I've started having these dreams of a women but I can never understand why

Slowly opening the letter I took out a disk. At first I was confused, isn't UA professional enough to send a letter indicating what my results were instead of a disk that had no use whatsoever

All of a sudden a light came from the disk and a hologram of the number 1 hero All Might was shown. My eyebrows furrowed in frustration at the sight of him

Growing up Tomura and I despised heroes with a passion and the fact I had to act innocent in front of a bunch of fake heroes got my blood boiling

"Young Nakamura you have shown greatness in your skills from the entrance exam" All Might said in a loud, obnoxious tone

I watched with a bored expression as clips of me taking down robots was shown from the hollow gram and then me saving that Midoriya kid

"You even showed that you are capable of building support tools to help you improve your skills" he said as other clips of me swinging from building to building with the gadget I made
