There was now only two weeks left until the fight and I could tell Vinnie's nerves were getting the best of him. His training was getting more and more intense with my dad and they were now more so focusing on his stamina and working on keeping him in the ring for as long as possible. I had barely been able to spend much time with him because my dad was enforcing strict one on one training without me being a distraction. It was more vigorous training and Vinnie was more exhausted which was understandable. This type of training with my dad was hard for even the toughest athletes. 

I figured it might be good for him if I took him on a miniature staycation. It'd help clear his head and hopefully calm his nerves a little bit. I already mentioned it to my dad and he agreed that it'd be good for his mindset so hopefully Vinnie would agree to it.
