P.o.V Zozana (zo-za-na)

I couldn't believe my eyes, Margaret and David described Lillian perfectly. Her long curly red hair hid her pale face, almost as pale as my own. I could count the freckles adorning her face keeping the childish look to her. At first glance, she couldn't be more than 14 years old, so when Margaret and David said she was 19 I was shocked. I guess to me everyone looks short I'm 6'2 after all. She had to be, let's see Ari is 5,6 and she's shorter than Ari, Cecilia is 5'2 she's short for a siren...Lilly, does she like to be called Lilly? Lils? I'll just ask her later maybe when we've broken the ice. Oh, she has to be like 4'10 she only a head shorter than Cecilia. As I was lost in my thoughts probably smiling like a lunatic, I feel a sharp jab to my side making me wince and look at my wife. It's only now that I realize I have been just staring into space, well more so staring at Lilly. I also realized she asked me a question. Yup she's never going to want to talk to us after the creepy lady smiled at her with out breaking eye contact.

"I'm sorry what did you say, dear?" I give her an innocent smile I know she can't resist but she just rolls her eyes at me, that witch! I'll take away her potion kit and put it on a high shelf. That won't work she would just wave it down with her magic.

"I said, what do you want to eat? Or am I choosing for you again?" she sounds annoyed but you can tell she is just playfully teasing. I do like it when she just takes charge of things for me though. My eyes shift to Lillian who's watching us from over her menu, when did she get that? She quickly hides behind it, she's so cute. I look back to my wife who just has one eyebrow arched at me waiting for an answer.

"But I like when you pick for me, dear. As long as you don't get me the pasta I've had pasta like 3 times this week." she hums at me contemplating the menu again. Knowing her she would probably get me pasta again, I have been a bit let's say bratty.

"You two are funny, never met a couple like you. Even Margaret and David don't act as you two do. How do you know them? Why did they tell you about me?" Lillian puts her menu down. Straight to the point, I like it she's like Arianna in that way. Watching them clash will be fun, I've always told her we would find a little just like the both of us. She says we would never find someone as annoying as me, which is true, but we could still try. I take charge of answering the questions.

"They are good friends of ours, partially because I sort of turned them into vampires but that's beside the point." another jab to my ribs "ow what was that for."

"I don't know, maybe because you mentioned you turned two people into vampires. You're nearly 530 years old you should know better. Heck, you almost got us both burned at the stake back in Massachusetts." Why my ribs?! I give her a little glare.

"Oh what about you? You just told her how old I am!" how dare she I might be 529 but still no one wants to to be 530. I realize that ya maybe saying I'm
A vampire in front of a human wasn't the best idea but she has magic she can just hocus pocus is out of this.

"Wait...you're a vampire? Then what would that make you another vampire? Do you guys just want to suck my blood? I don't have much of it so I doubt that's the reason I'm here." she crosses her arms not running away which is quite the sign of her being interested in this whole idea we have. The more logical thought is that she just wants that free meal. Which hey I wouldn't blame her this food is delicious.

"Oh I haven't had human blood since I was a baby vampire, I don't like the taste of it. Animal blood much better, humans put too much junk in their diet especially Americans. If I wanted to drink pure fat I would drink gravy." I look at my wife she's giving me the look to shut up. I then look to Lilly an she is giving me a 'what the fuck' look. Ignoring both their looks I just continue to talk.
