It seems as if Endzone finally reached their peak with the promotions of Resonance Era and one has to wonder what is the future of the group.
Lucky for those, on November 29, SM Entertainment decided to make a huge announcement regarding the future of Endzone.
First, it was revealed the original plans for Endzone as they were supposed to be a limitless group, meaning members would keep being added but the idea was put on hold as the group seemed to have perfect chemistry as 11 plus in their own sub-units.
According to the original plans, in 2018, Endzone was supposed to receive new members but the idea was scrapped. Then again, during the Endzone 2020 promotions it seemed like a good spot to finally make the addition but the company decided it would be better to have the original 11 members have the entirety of Resonance for themselves to show how far they've come and how amazing they are and how much they deserve for coming such a long way.
With all that being said, it was confirmed that in 2021, 10 new members will be joining Endzone, making the group a 21-member group.
Endzone units G and M will stay the same as confirmed by the agency and a new unit will be formed called Endzone 016 and its members are the original 11 who debuted in 2016.
To finish the announcement, Endzone will release one last song to fully finish the Resonance Era. The song is called "RESONANCE" and will be a mashup of songs "Make A Wish", "90's Love", "Work It" and "Raise The Roof".
