Friday, June the 1st I was heading to my grandparents habitance in Brazil. I left my house in the morning as eager as a Dog when a treat box is in their reach. I definitely made sure I took all of my successes and valuables along with me. Throughout the school year I won several trophies and competitions. Only thing is that I told my grandparents about them, I just felt it would be better if I actually had a chance to show rather than tell. You know like that one day in kindergarten you would have to bring something from home…... Yeah something like that.
I lived in Ontario, Canada. Not much I could really do. We would have occasional concerts and stuff but nothing more than you would expect. In school I was a pretty average student. Wasn’t the A student nor the F student. I was always more normal as just to having A’s and B’s. Alongside school I played for the soccer team. The Arsenic Dodgers. Arsenic as in the metalloid compound in the periodic table. In other words you could say we would be metal dodgers. Rush fast, play hard was our saying.
I went to the airport with my parents. Having our passports ready and flight tickets. I had never been on a airplane before. Quite the experience for a beginner flight resident. I went up a extremely high elevator. Along the ride up I had seen a shadow. A shadow of a person with no clear view of the person who was predecessor of the shadow. I proceeded to look forwards with no clue of what I have recently saw.
I got on the flight with a mix of feelings. Whether I would be confused and or concerned. Either way I boarded the flight putting my head down. Headphones in my ear listening to my music of joy. I had made a playlist for the flight so I could have a peaceful ride.
Halfway through the flight I dozed off in the peacefulness of quietness. Until I had heard the slightest noise of panicking.
I had been on the flight for a while. I had went to the bathroom. Much similar to a portapotty. While washing my hands I then hear another noise that sound like the same one I heard before, but this time it was much louder. It continued as I washed and dried my hands. I walked out the bathroom only to look out onto the other part of the plane.
No one was present in the A class part of the plane. However I instantly panicked due to another sighting of the same shadow. I got down low and walked into the A class part of the plane. I trembled and hesitantly shaken with fear. Wondering where the shadow was coming from. All of a sudden the plane jerked into a turbulence. Lights flickering on and off with my only intention being to find my parents.
I felt the plane rushing down. The shadow I was yet afraid of glaring at me with white eyes. Two gigantic legs appear. I could now see his dark black fur. Fur much similar to that of a black bear and a panther. As he got closer his teeth became more visible. As he continued I seen more and more of him appearing rather than just a shadow.
As close as he was to me. He stood close. Looking as feisty as a cat when you try to make it take a bath. His teeth in my face, lingering of the large dose of odor was fading. The monster quickly rose and then attacked.
“AHHHHHH!!!”. I woke up on the floor of a jungle-like area. Thinking I must have fallen off the bed. I was lost and confused. Not one person was in sight. Not even a sign of a human’s presence. My clothes were wet and ripped in certain parts. Only thing that was in my mind was the shadow of the monster that had attacked me. I stood up and looked everywhere for any sign of what might’ve happened. Only clue I found was gigantic foot steps.
To the best of my ability I climbed a tree using my t-shirt. One step after another I climbed. Once I had finally reach the top, I rested myself on a branch. In the distance I had seen smoke. Not regular smoke but burning fire smoke. Smoke that look as a black cloud with thunder in the distance.
I quickly climbed down the tree. In my head wishing that I could just go home.
