It was raining heavily and the young boy was peeking outside the window, he couldn't go out and get his sister from school.
"Sweetheart your sister will be okay, don't worry too much Eito" his mother trying to calm the young boy down. "But mom, you know how Ayame is," said the boy in a worried tone "l know, but have a little faith in your sister" his mother response "fine l guess.."
The young boy slowly calms down.
A knock then was heard outside the door "Who could that be" his mother says in a curious tone, she wipes her wet hands on a towel and then headed to the door. "Who is it!" Eito's mother opens the door and saw a policeman "Mrs.Matsuda?" questioned the police officer "Yes that's me, Who may you be sir?" answered and questions Mrs.Matsuda "I'm officer Kiro"
Said the police officer "Oh! How may l help you, officer?" Said in a curious tone of Mrs.Matsuda "your daughter, Matsuda Ayame was caught in an accident after school. on her way home, a driver who was drunk and was driving a truck fell asleep and drove straight to your daughter." answered the officer in a serious tone "Wait, You're lying right? You can't be saying the truth! Is she okay?! WHERE IS SHE!?" Mrs.Matsuda was worried and nervous she was scared. "Mother, What's wrong? I can hear you from the living room" Eito said in a worried voice concern for his mother "Your sister...she was caught up in an accident" Said, Mrs.Matsuda. Eito's Eyes widen, his face going pale "She is okay right?! Right..." Panic and terrified he was"We are not sure, you should go and see her".
3 hours later they arrived at the hospital. Eito rushed to the room where Ayame was staying "Ayame!" shouts eito with a worried tone, he sees Ayame. Laying down on the bed covered in bandages "Ayame! Are you okay?!" said eito as he walked towards Ayame "brother?...is that you.." said Ayame with a shaky voice, she was so weak she can barely lift a finger. "I'm sorry l wasn't there to protect you in time" he grabs Ayame's hand and cried. "brother... it's fine, I'm just clumsy as always hehe" said Ayame in a playful tone giggling, even if she was giggling Eito knew she was in pain. "Ayame, please don't say such words," said Eito as he cries more "Hmm. I'm feeling sleepy now, brother may l?" asked Ayame while smiling "...you may" as eito started to cry more "Thank you, brother...l'll be a watching from above" as Ayame said while smiling she slowly closes her eyes and then peacefully died. Her time of death was 5 pm, date July 7.
Eito cried while holding her dead sister's hand.
When they went home eito locked himself up in his room.
The boy wailed day and night. His last words to his sister were "I'm sorry, It's my fault."
