You Can't Walk Away Now

Chapter Two

Pain.

~~It's in you're every move, you're every breath. It's what you feel when you live everyday as your worst nightmare. You lie to yourself, dening the pain. You gasp for air to breathe, a hand to hold. But there's nothing. It tears your heart apart and throws it at your dull face. You hear my voice and remember that it's worth it, it's all worth it. So you go through another day of this hell. Pain is something you know more than the back of your hand. So let me grab my first aid kit, and heal you.~~

We got there and right away I noticed the big, concrete gate with a huge bald eagle on the top. The boys and I made small talk throughout the whole trip, except for that rude judger guy. I had found out there weren't as many girls as guys, and it was some type of boarding school. There were two dorms, one for the freshmen and sophmore, and than another for junior and seniors. Linny took us to the tallest, widest building of all.

Greener than green grass spilled out in the lawn. There was a big fountain of a boy with water sprouting out of his fingers and eyes. The fountain was wide, at least 20 feet in diameter. The boys' stance was as if as he was trying to keep hidden behind the big boulder in the middle of the fountain.

The car suddenly stopped and all the boys got out quickly. I staggered out and shut the door behind me, getting a better look of the multi-colored roses. ''beautiful." I muttered, so nobody would hear.

"I know." Said a voice from my side. It was boy number two, off to my left. His voice was pretty hot, he was so badass, I could tell by his voice.

I nodded once, ready to ask his name. "Graysone." He didn't even look at me, walking up the green and towards the staircase. It's like he read my mind, as odd as it sounds.

Shaking my head, I catch up with the boys. They sure can walk fast, I thought to myself. When we reached the top of the stairs, I was out of breath. Prince smirked at me, and so did Linny. Graysone just stood with a scowl. They waited patiently for me.

"Now," Prince started. Graysone rolled his eyes as he continued. "There might be a couple of things that the headmaster, Warnder, will say that will shock you. But believe me, it'll all be sorted out soon enough."

His accent was deep here, unlike in America where I could've sworn he had an American accent. Hm. That's weird. I just nod. What could possibly be so weird?

Prince and Linny open the giant double doors, opening up to a giant lobby with a golden chandelier hanging from the ceiling. A fountain layed underneath it, Just like the one out infront, except that it was smaller and the boy was standing infront of the boulder, as if he didn't want to be hidden anymore. The flooring was black stone, a front desk to the left side. Behind the desk was a plump woman, about 50 or so, with red, greying hair. I smiled at her, though she acted as if she didn't hear the double doors screaching open.

"Ms. Jaylinn Parner. Nice to meet you." I heard a voice from my left. I turned to see an elderly man in his mid 60s wearing a black suit, long hair spilling off of his chin. He swiftly walked to my side.

"You to, uh,-" I struggled with his name. How does he know my name?

He smiled and nodded to the guys, signalling that they were no longer needed here. "Headmaster Warnder." Oh, that's how he knew my name. I thought.

I smiled and we shook hands. He started walking to a hallway off to the left, motioning for me to follow him, and so I did. "This is the History, Science, and Math wing." I noticed many doors and raised my eyebrow.
