Millie's pov I probably ignored my alarm clock about a thousand times at least it was my favorite day of the week Friday. I didn't actually wake up til 8:05 and honestly I would've went back to sleep but Carlos messaged me Carlos has been my best friend since we were 7 it's always been me Carlos and Emily until recently. I started dating the schools star football player, and he is extremely overprotective he told me many times to drop Carlos but Carlos is like a brother to me although we did try dating in the past but that's a different story for a different time.

8:40 *In the car* "Hey Carlos" I said as I reached in for a hug "You know We still have 20 minutes before school" he said while he was looking at Me with a smile "Can we go to Starbucks" I asked "only if u pay for both of us" he said giving me a look trying to convince me "Fine" I said rolling my eyes at him
♡ We got Starbucks and we ended up losing track of time we were 7 minutes away from the school and school started in 3 minutes Carlos was rushing and we still didn't make it.
♡ We finally arrived at the school we were 10 minutes late because of traffic I was going to my class until I saw Jackson I knew he would be mad if he would found out that I was with Carlos all morning Jackson hates me hanging out with Carlos because he thinks I still like him.
♡ "Millie where have u been all morning" Jackson said as he was mad and confused
