"Next stop. Portorosso, please stand by as the door slides open. Have an amazing stay!" The lady in the mic joyed, as the train doors slides open

Stepping out of the train with both my hands carrying my luggage. I take a look around, feeling the open free air. Taking in a deep breath...I exhale and smiled.

"I can't believe I'm here. Like, I'm actaully here!"

"Hey Annabella!" Turning my head around her to my side, as my wavy long hair waved by my sudden movement.

There at the side of the train I see my good friend Giulia and beside her was her father. Giulia raced over to me, jumping into my arms as I had no choice but to let go of my luggage and catch her before we both fall to the ground.

"I can't believe it, you're here! Like, you're actaully here!" She beams with overjoy, as her father walked up to us and smiled in delight.

"Its good to see you too Giulia! I can't believe it either I'm actually here" I tell her grinngly

"Yeah! I'm so happy your mom let you stay with us for the summer!" She let go as her arm was around my shoulder

"Haha Yeah, I'm really happy to live with you guys. I'm grateful" I tell them as they both smiled happily to me

"You're family Annabella, why shouldn't we let you stay? Now come along girls, we have a big day tomorrow. Best to get yourself some sleep" Giulia father tells us, as he picks up my luggage with his left hand and walks before us

As we start to walk behind, Giulia pulls me close to her and whispers to my ear

"You're still going to join me so we can win the Portorosso Cup race, right?" She whispers to me

"Duh, that's why I came. And to also spend time with you, it'll be fun!" I tell her excitingly

We both giggled and chatted along the way until we make it to their homes. We all talked together while helping making dinner. During dinner we all laughed and cheered for the silly conversation we were having

"Gee Annabella, I'm really happy your mom let you stay with us, because usually she would be protective over you" Giulia said while continuing eating

"Yeah, she is but she gets worried when I'm far away from her. I took a lot of convincing but after the 15nt time, she finally agreed!" I cheered while eating my pasta

"Your mother is someone who loves you very much, she wouldn't want you getting hurt" Giulia father tells me

"I'm really grateful you took me in for the last week's of summer Mr. Massimo, I'm just happy to have my last few weeks of summer be fun before me and Giulia go back to school" I consoled, Giulia raises her glass filled with water as her stood over the table

"A cheer for Annabella being here!" She says happily, feeling a little embarrassed as my cheeks quickly turned pink but raising my glass of water, as while Mr. Massimo did so

"Benvenuti a portorosso!" We all cheered, clicking our glass together as me and Guilia take a sip of our water as Mr. Massimo took a drink of his wine. Since obviously we arent old enough to drink.

After cleaning up dinner, me and Giulia got ourseveles ready for bed as Giuila slept in her bed as I came prepared with my sleeping bag, and plus my one pillow

Mr. Massimo knocked against the door before Giulia said it's open. His head pop out of the doors frame and looked over to us

"You girls best to sleep early since tomorrow we'll have to work, I hope that doesn't bother you Ms Annabella" Mr. Massimo asked me

"I don't mind it at all! Gives me a chance to look around the town" I tell him, he genuinely smiles and turns to the light

"I won't turn it off unless you both are ready to sleep.." Mr. Massimo tells us, we both get ourselves comfy and cozy. We both smiled at Mr. Massimo, He smiles and turns off the lights. Walking over to the door quietly and whispers to us

"Goodnight girls, I hope the bed bugs won't bite.."

"Aye Papa!" Giulia calls her father, making me giggle at her father's being a goof ball. Even if he doesn't seem like the type to do so, he was a good father and man.

"Goodnight.." we finally mumbled and closed our eyes...

Hearing the door close silently, after a few moments of hearing footsteps walking away further away from Giula room. I hear Giulia whispers over to me

"Hey Annabella, are you asleep?"  Giulia whispers to me, turning over to her, wide awake

"Not anymore, what's up?" I ask her, she leans by her elbow as her cheek leaned against her shoulder. She looks outside as we can hear the ocean splatter against the sand

"I can't wait for the race, I'm confident that this time. We'll for sure to win! So, which part do you wanna compete in?" She asks me

"Hmm, I'm not a very good swimmer and riding a bike is something I will probably fail at. Eating pasta should be a breeze" I tell her

"Good enough for me, tomorrow we'll start training. Now that we're a team of two, we can finally beat down Ercole. Once we do--oh boy!"

"Shh! Don't talk too loudly!" I giggled over to her, she covers her mouth and giggles as well

"Sorry, too much"

"You're never too much for me, we've been friends since ever. I'm pretty much used to it" I tell her

"Anyways, back to the race. Are you sure you wanna do the pasta?" She asks me as I nod

"Yeah *yawn* I can handle it. I'm pretty sure my sleep is getting to me, we'll talk tomorrow about it. But for now, let's sleep.." I mumbled to her, turning to my side to sleep

"Oh, okay! Yeah, sleep..sleep...s..sleep...what should our names be?"

"Goodnight Giulia" I whisper to her, closing my eyes as I can feel my body relax inside my sleeping bag, hearing nothing but the sound of the ocean and the softness of my pillow as I lay my head against it

"...How about Underdogs?" Giulia whispers to me

'This is gonna be a long night..'
