After everyone being revived once again, celebrating their victory in the night. Senku and Tsukasa return back to the herd after their conversation.
Senku smiled while everyone was having fun, but noticed someone was missing from the party.
"Hey Yuzuriha" he called out to his old companion. "Where's Taiju?"
"Uh...I don't know. He wondered off in that direction, I believe." She pointed in the opposite direction where Senku and Tsukasa came from.
"Hmm?" He didn't say a word but followed the path that Yuzuriha directed him to. Yuzuriha watched as Senku left the group once again, but this time, she had a gentle smile running across her face.
"Go get him, Senku."
It didn't take too long, to find him. He was sitting in an a wide open grassy field with the wind blowing. The brunette was staring out into the sky. He looked at his hands with a serious look on his face which was very different from his usual focus and determined expressions. It seem, like it was almost...sad.
"Mom.....Dad...I...." The boy spoke....before stopping, not finishing his sentence. He then adverted his serious eyes, turning gentle as he gaze at the night sky.
"What are you doing, you big oaf?" Footsteps were approaching, him. The brunette didn't even need to turn around to know who it was.
"Oh, what's up Senku?" Taiju continue to look up at the sky, but noticed that the true king of science was standing right next him. "Whatcha doing out here?"
"Heh. Shouldn't I be the one asking that?" He chuckled. "Something on your mind, big oaf?"
"Eh?" The best friend jump a bit like he was hiding something. "What makes you think that?"
"Your easy to read, big oaf." Senku laughed a little. "What's on your mind?"
"Oh. I guess there no hiding anything from you, Senku." Taiju looked at his hands once more. "I was thinking about....my parents..."
"..." Senku stayed silent as he slowly sat down next to his lifelong friend, waiting for him to continue.
"You already know this....but I lost them, when I was so young.....I couldn't save them...I couldn't do anything. I couldn't even save you against Tsukasa....I can't do much....So now that we came this far...I wonder...."
Senku, even though he knew and trusted this man for mostly all his life, was surprise to see this side of him. He was mostly very positive, outgoing and cheerful, with the never ending strength of endurance. Something that Senku wishes he could have.
"I wish...I...could do much more...for the kingdom of science...But I know there are only so much things I can do for you guys... I promised myself that I wanted to save other people's families...But am I doing that? So I can't help but wonder....if my parents....If they were with me right now...would they be proud of me knowing what we are doing for this new world..." Taiju looked at the night starry sky with a gentle look.
"Heh.....You big oaf.....Your seriously thinking that all this time?" The king of science made his bright grin towards his friend. The brunette sitting next to him, looked back at him with a poker face.

"You saved me when we are were little. Even though I was killed by Tsukasa, wasn't it you and Yuzuriha that revived me? You were a spy along with Yuzuriha to stop Tsukasa. You brought Kaseki back to the surface when we needed him the most. You protected Gen. You helped me with the Revival Fluid. You're doing so much....back then...and even now....Do you truly think, that your parents wouldn't be proud of you for what you have been doing?"
"Senku..." Taiju was a bit surprised at his speech. Usually Senku barely thinks of what he would call "illogical" thinking with the dead, especially considering he never met his parents before.
"Look around us, Taiju...I don't know much about your parents....as I do mine...I don't know how they would feel, nor does that matter to me one millimeter. But what does matter to me...That you are doing enough. Just keep being who you are...And I will continue to be me...."
Taiju wanted to start crying, but something was telling him not to.
"And beside.....No one could ever replace a big oaf like you. My life would certainly get boring without that ridiculously loud voice of yours." A chuckle came from the crimson eye boy. "No matter what, we, Yuzuriha, and rest of the kingdom of science as well Are by our side. No matter what happens, we are doing this together, right?"
Taiju saw his best friend's same old radiant grin, and couldn't help but smile as he gaze back the night sky with his bud, as it felt someone like looking down at them.
