So we got a new cat, it's a girl, but the problem with the new cat is, she wasn't really a "family" choice. When my cousin hit me up and asked if i wanted a cat my first thought was "wouldn't the new cat fight with the current cat" i told my cousin that i would think about it. I talked to my mom about it, i asked myself many times "am i ready for another cat" the answer was no. I talked to my mom another time and she said "do you want to travel or go somewhere during the summer?" Of course i answered "yws" but i wouldn't be able to go anywhere for extended periods of time if i were to get another cat, especially s baby.
I told my cousin that it was too much responsibility. She understood and let me be. After two days my cousin came over to my house with the new cat just to take her out of the house. My brother loved the cat and agreed to adopt the thing. My mom thinking that my brother was going to take care of the cat agreed to let my brother get her.
The problem is, my brother goes to work and comws home very tired so he goes straight to sleep (well, gay to sleep) this mean that he doesn't take care of the cat. This leaves me to take care of the cat because my mom has a broken leg and cant really help me. The cat had started to think I'm her owner and she developed attachment isdues. i have to constantly look after her and feed her. Now I'm a person who doesn't like germs and doesn't like getting dirty. so, when i was told i had to change her litter box, i freaked out.
Don't get me wrong i love the cat but im not one for doing a lot of work, nor do I like to change a box that hold literal feces. Who knows what kind of disease those things could have. My mom says it's still not too late to giver her away, but how am I supposed to do that. I love the cat. plus due to her attachment issues, she'll be anxious if she gets put in another family.
The new cat and my other cat dont tend to get along very well. The new cat is very playful and constantly attacks my other cats tqil. my other ecat I'd kind of old like philza so he doesn't play. Due to this my other cat tends to try and fight off the new cat. And my family is scared that the new cat might get killed.
