once he stopped coughing he passed it to angel and looked at jaiden

Kobe: you kissed y/n as in my ex y/n
Jaiden: yea but-
Kobe: there's no buts jaiden
Jaiden: let me explain i messed up ok and that's my fault it was just she was talking to me and giving me tips to move on and i just took advantage of the situation but like i said she didn't kiss me back so it doesn't matter
Kobe: it does matter we're best friends and you tried to kiss her you did kiss her
Jaiden: i know man i know i'm sorry ok
Kobe: i don't know what you want me to say
Jaiden: that it's ok or that you understand man if y'all weren't together i wouldn't have done it but y'all aren't you're both single
Kobe: but you know how i feel about her because i constantly tell you
Jaiden: i know and that's why i feel like shit for doing it you're my best friend i'm not tryna lose you over no girl
Kobe: you're not gonna lose me over a kiss man its just i don't know i hate the fact of y/n moving on it's like it's ok for me to but when she does it i do whatever i can to break them up until she's single again

when kobe said that jaidena and angel just looked at each other then looked back at kobe

Angel: that's the most toxic shit i've ever heard in my  entire life
Jaiden: man for real here i am apologizing and you over here basically telling us you want her to be single forever while you move on and if she doesn't stay single then you're gonna do anything you can to break them up
Kobe: i know it seems toxic but-
Jaiden: nah ain't no buts that shit is toxic
Kobe: ok well i know it's toxic but there's nothing i can do to fix it
Jaiden: maybe seek some psychological help
Angel: for real because it's only a matter of time before she puts a restraining order on your ass
Kobe: you really think i'm gonna listen to a piece of paper telling me to stay away from her
Angel: that piece of paper also says if you don't you can serve jail time
Kobe: y/n wouldn't call the cops on me
Jaiden: personally i think you're underestimating her she's more strong minded than you think yea she might let you get away with some shit but how long do you think that's gonna last
Kobe: as long as i want it to y/n loves me too much to get me in any kind of trouble
Angel: i feel like you're taking her love for granted man
Kobe: how
Angel: because you're trying to use it for you own guilt benefit and you're using it for all the wrong reasons that's what broke y'all in the first place kobe
Kobe: i don't need a damn lecture we broke because we weren't right for each other at the time
Jaiden: there's not a right time for y'all man you're not mentally mature enough and she is y'all were a mistake from the beginning let it go let her go
Kobe: you don't think i've tried that because i have i tried letting her go it doesn't work for me
Angel: if you don't then you're gonna keep breaking her until she ends up forcing you out of her life i know it might suck but you'll find another life to live that doesn't deal with constantly dragging her down for your own benefit
Kobe: saying that is gonna make me start acting distant and she's gonna think it's something she did
Jaiden: she told me to heal it's gonna hurt before it gets better maybe if y'all stay away from each other for at least a month then a bond will reconnect and maybe y'all can just be friends or something because no matter how bad you want it y'all being in a relationship just doesn't work out man
Kobe: yea you're right but this shit is gonna hurt
Angel: which part
Kobe: watching her move on
Angel: then think about how it made her feel when y'all first broke up and you moved on man this time it only took two weeks before you asked davine to marry you and yet you still haven't told y/n
Kobe: how do i tell her something like that
Jaiden: don't know but you gotta figure out you can't constantly keep big shit like this from her and expect everything to be kind and dandy she's gonna be pissed and you know it
Kobe: i don't want to hurt her feelings
Jaiden: then you shouldn't have asked her to marry you but you did and it's too late and she deserves to know she also deserves to know that davine is pregnant again by you
Kobe: how'd you know that
Jaiden: she told me dude she tells me anytime you make her happy and when you make her sad she tells angel and he tells me now you have two major things happening and you need to tell y/n
Kobe: it's my life though not hers
Angel: if you don't tell her and she finds out it's gonna kill her inside

the boys got up leaving out and kobe took a deep breath looking out the window at y/ns house then he got up walking downstairs and out the house going to hers and knocking until she answered the door in a black cropped tank top and black shorts with her hair in a bun

Y: what
Kobe: wow
Y: don't start what do you want
Kobe: oh my bad um i thought i should tell you davines pregnant again
Y: ok congrats
Kobe: thanks also i asked her to marry me
Y: oh well happy for you
Kobe: thanks i just thought i should tell you instead of you figuring out last minute
Y: well i appreciate that and i'm glad you decided to tell me
Kobe: you're not mad
Y: no we ran our course it's time for you to run another one with someone else i just hope this one lasts
