Till Death Do Us Part

Prologue

~Lilith POV~
     The sky was a deep red; as red as the fury I felt. My lover fought alongside me. I got distracted for a moment as I watched his built figure weave through countless angels, slaughtering them with one swipe. I refocused as a holy sword nearly struck me. 
     The battle had been going for days.. they weren't planning on giving up any time soon, and it wasn't looking good for the demons.

     "My Love! This isn't looking good for us. We need to go back and get more troops!!" I screamed as my sword clashed with another. All I could hear for miles was the clash and the bodies falling to the ground. 
    

     "NO! WE CAN'T GO BACK NOW!" His voice boomed through the air as he mauled another angel.
    As I tried to convince him to go back and get reinforcements, I felt a sharp pain in my abdomen. I looked down to see an angel blade piercing through my stomach. The glowing, holy blade that shimmered in the light now stained by my blood. I could feel it burning through my flesh and organs, and I screamed in blood-curdling pain.
    I could feel the earth shake as my lover roared in anger. I took one more look at him.. his chiseled, red-tinted body coated in blood and sweat. His face had a look of fury. HIs hair was a disheveled mess due to battle, and his horns peeking out between the knots pointing towards the sky. I whispered a breathless 'I love you' as my consciousness slipped from me.

~Satan's POV~

      I looked over as the angel blade pierced through my beautiful dove. I watched as my vision went red and I roared in agony. Her shimmering blonde hair flowed in the wind, and her glowing blue orbs locked with mine. I looked at her soft pink lips as she whispered 'I love you' and she collapsed to the ground. I roared again and dashed to the angel responsible for this

    "MY DOVE!" I cried out as I took the life of the angel who took hers. I fell to my knees as I cried again. "Dove.. Sweetest Lilith please, wake up!!! I CAN'T LOSE YOU!" My voice cracked in sadness.. my voice never cracks with any emotion. "Our beautiful baby boy.. Sweet Callimer is waiting for us at home." I cried for the first time ever into her nape, leaving soft kisses along it. "I need you dove.."

    An angel approached me and my once full of life Lilith. I looked at him with tears filling my eyes. He wasted no time to strike me and take my life..
