So I just got finished rewatching season 2 and season 1. I only have season 3 and the movie to rewatch. But what Fukuzawa said in Kunikida's OVA got me thinking.
He was visiting Chief Tanadea of the Super Divisions For Unusual Powers and he asked the president about the future of the agency and if he were to ever die that Kunikida would take his place. I then remembered the cover in volume 14 of the manga were his photo of crossed with an X.

Most likely foreshadowing that he may die as well. And what if that does happen? Who would become the president then?? My thought would have to be either Ranpo or Dazai but then I saw that Ranpo was also crossed out so it will most likely be Dazai.
He was the most terrified member of the Port Mafia back in the day and has experienced leadership before. Or of course maybe Atsushi?? But I believe that would put a lot of pressure on him so maybe not.
If Dazai does become the president later on in the series I can only imagine him trying to commit suicide and all the future members are like "Hey where's the president?!" And then they fund him trying to kill himself.
But ya, please let me know what you think about the future of the detective agency. I would love to hear what your thoughts are.
