I checked my watch. "Shit shit shit.." I grumbled. I stumbled out of the taxi and ran to the unamused looking security guards. My shoes became soggy. I could hear the ever so familiar music blasting inside. The unfortunate weather was pelting down but I was determined. "Excuse me? I have a ticket to go inside I'm just... late." I smiled strangely at one of the tough security guards. He grunted and demanded to look at my ticket. I unbuttoned my purse and handed him the ticket.

He examined it and looked back up at me. "You're not getting in. The gig has already started." He pointed to the door. The other one shrugged. "Nothing we can do." He sighed. My face turned into a frown very quickly. I had waited months to see this band and now I can't even get in.

"Are you sure?" I shivered from the chilly air. They both nodded. I could still hear the lead singer, Damiano, singing the lyrics I knew. I froze for a second. I had no money left to get a taxi home so I just sunk to the ground, resting my head on the wet wall behind me. I was late because my car broke down.

I looked down at my soggy ticket and sighed. The time on my watch showed that the concert was near an end. I hid my head in my hands. I didn't even care that I was soaking anymore, it was somehow calming. I hummed along to the last song they played, Coraline. As soon as it ended I heard the audience cheer and scream. Minutes later, fans bursted out the doors, looking for their cars to get home. I just sat and watched them all because I had nothing better to do.

I was so frustrated with everything. The company I worked for had gone bankrupt and let me go, my car broke down and now I missed the concert.

The road twinkled with rain as each car left the venue. I looked up to see a banner reading 'Måneskin' with a picture of all the band on it. I felt so disappointed. Soon every car was gone except for a black minivan. The two security guards had left by now, I was alone sitting on the floor with rain pouring down. After minutes of silence I heard chattering in a language I didn't understand.

The main doors opened and four people walked out, holding cases instruments and laughing. They looked very familiar. One of them looked down at me and gasped. She immediately stopped walking and rushed towards me. I realized it was Victoria De Angelis, the bassist. The rest of the band members turned around. Victoria bent down and rubbed some smeared mascara off my cheek, I didn't realize I had been crying.

"Are you ok?" She said in her iconic raspy, Italian accent. "You're Victoria! I'm such a huge fan! And Damiano, Thomas and Ethan! Oh wow...." I shivered in both coldness and shock. All I was wearing was a tank top and jeans. She smiled sweetly. I forced a smile and tucked a piece of dripping wet hair behind my ear.

Damiano took off his jacket which I was confused by, since it was very cold. He then put it over my shoulders. "Thank you, but you can go. Honestly, I'm fine." I smiled weakly, but I couldn't hide my expression well enough. I tried to give Damiano back the jacket but he shook his head in refuse.

I still couldn't believe that Måneskin the band was in front of me. "No, you look like you have been crying. What's wrong?" Victoria asked, sitting down on the soaking wet ground. I wiped my face so I looked somewhat presentable to my idol. "Just... I- lost my job and my car broke down and I couldn't get into the venue even though I've been wanting to see you guys for months. And... yeah it all just kind of....... uh....sucks." I laughed fakely and gestured to my current sad, hunched over self.

She said something in Italian to the three boys that made them keep walking on to the van, unloading their things. Ethan smiled at me and waved while Victoria handed him her guitar case to put in the van. "That sounds horrible. What's your name?" She frowned in compassion. I took a deep breath. "Uh... Vanya." I nodded. I felt bad for wasting her time.
