There was no point running straight into the fire so l jumped into the pink sea, colored by the blood my brothers and l dreaded turning around and seeing a dead man screaming medic or help. ''yes sir'' BANG blood squirted on my face. I looked down and my Sargent was dead with a huge hole in his head with blood purring out of it. I drop to the ground and start to leopard crawl to the nearest piece of cover, which was a blown-up tank. There was a hole covered with a turret blown off.   So l got myself under there and put my gun under the turret there was a small hole in between the tanks Turret sand the sand l slowly l picked the Germans off until the next wave of  Allies came in.  Denis my friend jumped in the hole next to me and asked if l was alright "Jesus'' l  l thought you were dead'' well you were wrong'' said Denis  ''do you have bangle or something l can use to blow this wire up''' no but Simpson does if you want to go to him'' said Denis. Getting to Simpson was harder than l thought there were so many mines and bullets from the bunker that flew everywhere but finally, l got to Simpson l got the bangle, and just made it back to the tank with a Denis. l got to the wire and put the Banglore in the wire ''FIRE IN THE HOLE '' l yelled, then our men charged in and we went up to the wall of the bunker where we were safe  ''get a Fucking a grenade and throw in that bunker Denis and l  ran up to edge of the trench and shot seven bullets and killed six germans we throw a hand grenade and saw some legs and brains parts fly out of the bunkers we took that part of the trench and throw a grenade into the bunker and blow it then got someone to flamethrower the bunker as well in no time we had taken the trench and secured the bunkers.
