I slammed my locker shut, frustrated. Today, was just not my day. I heard someone clear their throat and turned around to see it was Xavier.
"What?" I asked, harshly. "I'm not in the mood for the pretend girlfriend shit right now."
Xavier shook his head. "Here," he said, handing me a little container. "I thought you'd like some chocolate chip cookies to make you feel better."
I opened the container to see multiple cookies. I sighed, looking up at Xavier. "Thank you."
"You're welcome, darling," Xavier said, grinning.
"This was really nice of you," I said, nodding my head. "You're not that bad of a guy, Xavier."
He smirked. "Don't fall in love with me."
I scoffed, shaking my head. "I'm not going to fall in love with a blackmailing asshole."
Xavier still had a smirk. "If you say so, love."
And with that, the blackmailing asshole walked away. I angrily shoved a cookie in my mouth and ate it. "Huh," I said surprised. "The blackmailing asshole can cook."
