"Okay, I finally have the results," the host said as he flashed the still-sealed envelope for everyone to see.
Mr. Yoo Jaeseok then opened the enveloped and read through its contents. Other than the representatives themselves, he was the first person to have knowledge about the results – perks of being a host. The audience was stirred when he let out a genuine gasp out of surprise. What possibly could have made the famous host to quickly and audibly take in air just like that?
"Oh, wow. The result is really..." the MC tilted his head, unable to finish his sentence. "So according to tradition, I will first announce the only runner-up for the Twilight Triad position."
The audience took interest and who wouldn't be? After all, being named a Twilight Triad runner-up was bittersweet; bitter because the group nearly made it as a member of the Twilight Triad but sweet since knowing that you almost became a Twilight Triad member meant that you're one of the Top Ten most powerful groups of the kingdom for the year.
"Almost making it to the Twilight Triad is..." – the audience held their breaths as Mr. Yoo paused to prolong the tension – "Essim Province's In-City!"
The twenty-three members of In-City stood up and celebrated on their spot, hugging each other, as the whole hall erupted in applause. Other groups may have felt disappointed but In-City was happy that they were able to maintain their ranking consistent for several years now.
"Congratulations!" In-City's direct seniors, X-O, congratulated them.
"Thank you, seonbaenim!" Taeyong and the rest bowed to X-O repeatedly.
"Wow! Don't worry too much, guys. It only gets better from now on," Daehwi said with a smile, confusing the whole In-City.
In-City was given enough time to celebrate the news. When everything settled down, Mr. Jaeseok continued with the ceremony.
"And now, let's move on to the official members of the Twilight Triad," Mr. Yoo mentioned. "The first official member of the Eighteenth Twilight Triad and was nearly overtaken by In-City is Sorz Province's Geefreend."

Geefreend went to one of the official seats for the Twilight Triad up front immediately after the announcement while the hall clapped for them.
"Hello, we are Geefreend!" Sowon and the rest greeted. "Honestly, we can't believe that we were called since we saw a lot of potential squads that are also qualified for this position. Thank you for giving us another opportunity to serve the kingdom like this."
Geefreend sat after making a speech. The hall fell silent in anticipation to the next member.
"The second member is another female magical squad," the audience murmured at the revelation. "Welcome to the Eighteenth Twilight Triad... Arbee-W Province's Mommymoo!"

Another round of applause echoed through the hall. The four members of Mommymoo themselves were quite taken aback of the announcement. Still, they shyly made their way to one of Twilight Triad's designated seats.
"I say Mommy~ Mommymoo! Mommymoo here." Solar initiated the greeting. "Uhm... the fact that we are still a member of this honorable institution has not yet sunk in. But just like before, we will diligently perform the duties and responsibilities you vested upon us at this moment."
When Mommymoo took their seats, the host spoke again, "Finally, the third official member of the Eighteenth Twilight Triad is a boy group. It is none other than... Disple Province's SVT!"

The SVT members had all their jaws dropped at the announcement. As other squads were clapping for them, they politely made their way to the remaining spot for the Twilight Triad.
"Say the name... SVT! Hello, we are SVT!" S.Coups led his team. "Uhm... uhm... First of all, we would to thank everyone for this huge honor. We were quite surprised to hear our name since we were not expecting anything for tonight. Still, just like last year, we will do our utmost best to live up to everyone's expectations and do our jobs no matter who we will work with. Once again, thank you very much."
SVT took their seats. Mid-way through the program and it seemed that there was no change in the Twilight Triad's lineup.
